Brownlie & Maxwell Funeral Home

I have always found their funeral directors and staff to be kind, professional and helpful. Their funeral services are so beautiful and high quality. I'll never forget the funeral service that I attended for one of my students, who was only in her 20's. Brownlie & Maxwell made her funeral service beautiful, comforting and uplifting. This funeral home really goes the extra mile, and I greatly appreciate that. I also appreciate their reasonable prices. When you lose a loved one, it is good to be in trusted hands.

Poor, Poor customer service. I wasn't impressed with our initial meeting, but that's neither here nor there. We've waited 3 weeks for the death certificate, without which, we cannot move forward closing out this emotional time in our lives. The funeral home gave the county medical examiner's office the wrong address, transposed a zip code and the mail never arrived. We called the county and they told us. "Just have the funeral home order more". We called the funeral home several times, got the run around....basically they are saying "we're waiting for the mail to come back". REALLY? Waiting on the post office. They acknowledge it's their fault and I asked them to order the certificates again. Now I'm talking to the owner, Mike and he tells me "I'll order more if you want to pay for them" Can you believe that? So far, no satisfaction and no death certificates...guess we'll just wait on the post office to find that lost mail. Use this company at your own risk.
