I chose this laundromat because it was the closest one to my neighborhood, (South County), that is open 24 hours. I figured, it's in a good neighborhood, chances are they have good washing machines. I was correct in guessing that, the washing machines and dryers worked wonderfully. I was washing my clothes at about 4:00 A.M., and a Clayton Police Officer drove by twice, slowly, and was shining his spotlight inside the laundromat. I have no fear of the police, but felt instead, safe. I am sure he was not used to seeing someone inside the Laundromat at 4:00 in the morning, and wanted to be sure that I was not up to anything (such as harming the business). I made the mistake of eating before I began washing clothes, and needed to use a restroom. NO PUBLIC RESTROOM. Be careful going here in the LATE evening, or EARLY morning because the local gas stations will not let you use their restrooms because of the time of evening/morning. You will have to drive to Hampton Ave to a diner or Steak and Shake to use a restroom. There is FREE Wi-Fi, which I am using right now, so that is a plus as well... The place seems clean and well kept. I did not have a chance to meet the staff due to the time of morning I was using the facility. Overall I gave it "3 Stars" due to the fact that it had no public restoroom, or restroom at all.

What a great service for locals and visitors alike to have multiple services all in one place. Self service coin laundry with FREE DRY and reasonable washer prices, dry cleaning, shirt laundry, drop off fluff and fold (which was grreattt), shoe repair, leather repair, and much more. While we were waiting for our laundry Soulard Soap Laundromat & Cleaners had FREE WIFI and if you don't have your own laptop, they had two pay computer terminals on DSL which was really fast. They have a great selection of ice cream, snacks, and soda (pop) and bottled water. The palce is fully air conditioned and really bright and clean. Their state-of-the-art bathroom, if there is such a thing, was a real surprise. It is within walking distance of many fine restaurants in the famous Soulard neighborhood, like across the street. It is one block from the historic Soulard Farmers Market which is a beehive of activity Thursday through Saturday. Just a $6 cab ride from most downtown hotels. If you're lucky, your hotel will give you a free limo/van ride to this great facility. Thank you so much for making our stay in St. Louis such a wonderful experience. Oh yeah, I almost forgot the vintage video games which were really nostalgic.
I've been a loyal customer. They are a family run business for over 20 years now. I don't go anywhere else because they are more concerned about quality than those coupon clipping dry clean businesses. The mother is the only employee. That's pretty rugged since she is open Monday-Friday from 7am-7pm and Saturdays from 8am-5pm! That's a lot of hours for one lady. Sometimes her kids occasionally help out. She washes spots with lots of different chemicals at least three times. She told me that I should never use water to wash out a spot, otherwise it makes spot removal difficult. So there's always a risk that comes with spot removal because sometimes it just can't be removed. But if it doesn't come out, you can't expect to not pay for the chemicals and labor spent in trying to remove it. I would recommend this dry cleaners any day.
yes I was not that impress with this location. I was somewhat satisfatied with my clothes. I only went because of the coupons from the entertainment book that I had purchased. However a few of the attendants at this location is not the friendliest or the type that will go out of their way to assist you. I had asked one the attendants about the coupons that the store issues and she had stated that she could not honor any discounts without the actual coupon. Well my regular cleaners TipTop on Clayton Rd will honor the coupon value with or without it just mention that you did have the coupon.
I come here for years. I get my husband's business shirts and pants cleaned here. They do an excellent job in cleaning and pressing. They pay attention to details and care about my dry cleaning items. Shirts are charged $2.25 per piece. It’s only 20 cents more than the American Cleaners – but man, the quality is 300% better. Shirts always come back perfectly pressed with wrinkle and spot free. Comparing to other nearby cleaners charging almost $3 per shirt with about the same quality, Olive cleaners really offers the best value here.
This is not just a Tip Top "Office," it's actually a dry cleaners. The staff are nice and good at their work, although they can be a little slow at times. The cleaning is fine (my only complaint is that my sweaters smell strongly of chemicals when they come back) and the service is fast. They've never lost any items, burned anything, or broken off buttons, etc. The Tip Top chain has coupons on their website and they also take other dry cleaners' coupons, too.
Took a dress in that I thought was beyond help. American Cleaners down the road wasn't able to revive it. Thought I'd give Chippewa Cleaners a try. They got the stains out and it looks great now! I have since been going to this cleaners and my items look great have been ready on time. No real complaints. Service is okay, no frills. Better than the teenagers at American Cleaners. Highly recommend if you want quality professional cleaning.
I have been going to Butler Hill Dry Cleaners for over 10 years and have yet to find a dry-cleaning business that goes above and beyond with the quality and customer service they provide to me. My shirts are done on time and are perfectly pressed. John (the owner) goes out of his way to make sure you are happy with every aspect of your services. Give them a try. They will take care of you!
The folks at Westway are very good to deal with. The same lady has been there for years taking in the cleaning work. She is very pleasant to deal with. Westway does a good quality cleaning job at a reasonable price. Also, they post their coupons on their website so you can print them from the site.
Olive cleaners is a great place! Their service is superb. they are timely with their turnaround and dedicated to your garments, best of all, my clothes always look great and never smell like some weird chemical. I like they also have alteration on the shop so I can have my pants hemmed at one stop.
