2 in or party of 4 arrived to a half full restaurant on a Sunday for dinner. We were seated respectfully and timely. And then it went sideways; after sitting patiently for several minutes a waitress acknowledged us in passing and indicated she would be back. She already appeared frustrated having the look of OMG let me out of here on her face. Several minutes later after making eye contact in passing she paused and asked if she could take our drink order to which I quickly replied yes. In an effort to calm her and allow her to reboot I asked “are you OK, seems like you’re having a bad day?” to which she curtly replied “I don’t want any attitude”.This led us to promptly but politely get up and request another table. We did so with the same nice young man who had previously seated us. Under the watchful eye of what I believe to be the manager or perhaps the owner, the young man asked why and where were we were sitting? Answering him and noticing the manager listening but not engaged in the conversation or in his posture direct, the manager decided at that time he would intervene and asked that we wait until our other two guests arrived indicating they do not like to seat parties (in this case, 4) until all arrive. We left and regrouped with our remaining party on the way out and went on to enjoy another restaurant in the area.So many other ways to handle this than the way it was handled. With so many other great dining options, can anyone afford to provide such an experience as this?We would have been more than happy to sit at the empty bar and enjoy a round of drinks until our remaining party arrived had it been presented to us at the time of arrival. Perhaps the young man recognizing the restaurant was half empty felt he could seat us, and we most certainly would have enjoyed a round or two of cocktails at the table while we waited for our other guests to arrive.
Don't care about public safety, I would say today proved that. Thanks for not coming to keep me safe while I'm in traffics way while changing a tire on 71. Great way to not be there!!
Owner/staff COMPLETE insensitive to children with disabilities. Plans for a special evening, celebrating 20 year anniversary was a COMPLETE disaster. And...whoever makes the salads needs a hair net! Will NEVER support this establishment again.
we have eaten here many times and love the food, its always been good for us!
Went there for their fish fry Friday night 2/20/15, they were out of the fish fry. They suggested the broiled cod it was taste less a very disapointing dinner. Our friend had a $4.50 side order of mac n cheese that she didn't care for. This is not a place we will go for dinner, breakfast is ok.
