RUBY's Resort & RV

I have reserved and rented a lakeside RV spot with full hookups! I Love it!! It's beautiful! And well run by Joe and Debbie. I would recommend this facility to anyone!

The new managers are Debie and Joe and they rock! Coffee was great and early wasn't a problem as they are at Ruby's way earlier then expected. Clean and well run campground. Thanks for the nice hot showers and the fun enviroment

Under new management; very nice, friendly, relaxed couple. My whole family enjoyed themselves immensely. Clean lit bathrooms with shower. Kids loved the playground area plus tons of fun fishing. Kids caught black crappie, sunfish, and yellow perch in plenty, we caught bigmouth bass, and trout; all off the dock. They even rent boats. We had lots of fun. If your looking for a relaxed place to just "get away from it all" for a weekend of camping or a night or even just for the day, THIS is the place to go " RUBY'S on the lake". Loved it, will be returning.

Not nice at all the swimming area for kids is dangerous, playground not nice,only have paddle boats to rent.Most importantly they let people live here!!! And not just any people, on the left side of us we had a neighbor that looked like he could be on drugs & have a criminal record of some sort,behind us was another guy who also lived alone who would just walk into our camp site area like nothing,& on the right side of us was a family living with two kids living in a really small broken down RV their kids in underwear they looked really neglected and the husband looked really scary.There was another area two camp sites to the side where it was just water & electric hookup those sites are actual campers, but they put our family in the full hookup area where the only real campers were us.We did not feel safe so we did not come out of our RV and they did not look like they were going to give us our money back in fact there was a sign saying they could charge $10 if you had a bad attitude!

I had made advanced reservations, sending a deposit..something that isn't even required. When a family event prevented me from attending the local Blue Grass Festival in Medical Lake, I contacted Ruby's on Silver Lake for a refund. They were given several weeks notice. The won't even respond to my letter....so next year you don't get my business!!!!

If it's been a while since you've been taken complete advantage of or been made to feel like an idiot, come stay a night here to get your fix. This place sucks. As mentioned in another review, the bathrooms here are no better then those gas stations that lend you a key with a block of wood attached. Seriously there was a corner of the stall that appeared as if someone opted to wall sit and let'er rip right on the floor (in hindsight I wish I had thought of that when cleaning the poop streaks off of the toilet seat). Nothing to worry about though, one of the "managers" had obviously come by to smear it around a little with a moist rag. Also their swim area is unusable due to risk of drowning by sea weed entanglement. When I ask for our money to be refunded so we could pack up and go I got what seemed to be their standard response, "we don't own the place we're just the managers". So here I sit back at our camp site with nothing better to do then write this on a touch screen, annoyed.
