Cottage Quilts is more than I expected our newest quilt shop to be! Dave and Carolyn are helpful and knowledgeable and are quite interested in finding out what quilters in the Rogue Valley want. They also own a successful shop in Fresno, so are not new in the business. Dave does in- shop machine repair. I for one am very happy to have them here!
Cottage Quilts thinks there p o o don't stink. It's Christmas and the owner contacted me on my cell phone today to say: "DON'T COME TO OUR STORE AGAIN - YOU CAN'T AFFORD US ", What a classless guy! All because I purchased a machine on eBay. Im a new sewer with a beginners passion. The first time I walked into Cottage Quilts, I asked Esther if they sold used machines, she lied and said no? Later I find out they do? So I called and left a message with Esther on purchasing a used machine they had in stock, I never heard back? Claudia another sales rep told me, if I decided to buy a used machine on eBay, I could come to them for paid service? Not hearing back on the used PFAFF machine from Esther, I purchased a used PFAFF on eBay, & saved $4500. I then paid them for servicing the PFAFF - the very next morning, I received a call from the owner in Oregon telling me, YOU CAN'T AFFORD US, & YOU'RE NOT WELCOME IN OUR STORE? Then added: "NOW YOU HAVE TO DRIVE 300 MILES TO THE NEXT PFAFF DEALER" What a snob! Correction; US SEWING FRESNO can repair PFAFF so it's only 3 miles. On a good note, I found an amazing and inspiring resource, a company in Fresno, US SEWING, they respect your budget and earn your business by honest and godly deeds. John at US SEWING FRESNO said to me" Listen; Your Machine Loves You, and is willing to make amazing things for you". Now that's the way you treat your customers. I purchased my first top of the line JANOME 1200D Pro Serger from US SEWING. John & US SEWING FRESNO is literally a Godsend!
