I have used Todd for many years to repair several of my vehicles. In the last year he has done nothing but stall on repairs, lie about the work he's done and lie about getting in the wrong parts. Most recently I brought a vehicle in to have the tank dropped and lines fixed. I was having issues with gas spilling and slow fill ups. Paid him around $300 for the repair and not one of the problems was fixed. The last issue was for a gasket repair on a transfer case. I left the vehicle along with the gasket kit with him for several weeks. I got tired of waiting so I showed up at the shop. He told me that he did the one side but there was another side that he needed to order a different gasket kit for. I kept calling to find out if he got the other kit in for weeks. Well he finally told me it was coming in and to drop it off. Upon arrival, I notice that the original gasket kit that I dropped off with him was still in the package on his work bench. I didn't say anything as I just wanted the repair done and over with. Aaaaaand again a week goes by and no call. Finally got a hold of him and he told me that they sent the wrong gasket kit. This was about 5 months ago and he still has yet to not only get the correct kit in, now he can't find the one I left with him! Do not waste your time or your money here. Todd will shine you on, take your money and you will not be any better than when you dropped your vehicle off.
My dad and I have been going here for a number of years. Always great service and plenty of information regarding what was done and the exact outcome of the service. Today I had an alignment done on my BMW e46 m3 for $70 when BMW wanted $200 for the same service. I had previously lowered my car and when I went in to pick it up I was informed that lowering the car made it impossible to adjust the camber back to original spec but I was told what the original spec was and what my car had been adjusted to and if I wanted that spec what I had to do to get there. Really fantastic service and straight forward honesty, I will contine coming here and referring my friends and family. Nelson's has never done us wrong.
Do not go to this Midas!I recently contacted this Midas (935 North Central, Medford, OR 97501) to replace the struts on my 2004 Honda Element as well as doing an oil change.Not only did they bend my rock shield on the front driver side rotor (tried to blame the scratching sound on my brakes at first), they bent my rear driver side break line putting in the new strut leaving it rubbing against the tire almost breaking it in half after only a week of driving; they also took 3 1/2 hours longer then they quoted me, and proceed to not do a proper inspection on my car. Neglecting to tell me that my two rear tires were splitting (the rear driver side was a-symmetrical) my two front drive axle boots were nonexistent, my tierod boots were completely torn up, and to top it off the technician didn't do the oil change I asked for (10,000 mile 5-20 synthetic blend) he used the standard 2,000 mile 5-20. When I finally got a hold of the store manager and owner Tom he refused to even listen to my complaints, and was extremely rude. When I mentioned going to small claims court he said "Do It!" then immediately hung up on me.I even tried to go to another Midas in Olympia (108 Northwest Kenyon St., Olympia, WA 98502), they told me about my drive axle boots and my tires saying "my axle could fall apart" then said they only had two hours left until they closed and told me they wouldn't do anything for me and recommended I drive across town to get used tires and go to Les Schwab. I ended up having to go to Les Schwab in Olympia (2825 Capital Mall Dr SW, Olympia, WA 98502), and they were extremely helpful, got us in immediately, and pointed out at least 5 different failed safety features Midas had green lighted originally.

Lockwoods had my car for 8 months to fix my head gasket. I called about once a month to check up on things, they lied constantly, kept changing the story about what was going on, then once it was "done" i pay the $1600 and drive down the road and coolant sprayed everywhere. Took it back 4 different times and they still said they couldnt spot a coolant leak. At this point you can see why im writing a review... anyways so i took it to a machanic a co worker recommended and they guy says "wow they screwed you over" im back to square 1 with a broken head, now $1600 in the hole. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR OR TRUCK TO LOCKWOODS!

Don't ever bring a vehicle here. We did and they kept it for 6 weeks and never did anything. We had to have it towed away and they wouldn't even give us back the 175.00 dollars that we had given him for parts. Please, stay away from this gypo.
2 sides to every story. albins vehicle had a noise issue as well as a vibration issue. I machined the front rotors to eliminate the vibration issue and inspected the brakes which all were in good condition. I told him that a majority of times the rotor warpage can cause other issues such as brake pad movement which could cause a clicking noise. I drove the car after the machining and heard nothing. vibration gone, noises gone when I drove it. he left and didn't inform me that noise was not corrected. I suppose I could have done a complete brake service for hundreds of dollars and that might have corrected his noise issues........but I always try for the least expensive repair first.
Charged $111.00/hr, said the problem was fixed(passenger front floor getting wet in the rain) gave a verbal assurance it was fixed. It wasn't, floor got wet again a few days later. Talk went from "it's fixed...there should be no problem now... to...well we tried...it's hard....it is what it is..." and wanted me to bring it back again so they get squirt the van with a hose, and charge more $$(my time is $ too and I could have saved both by giving that $ to a homeless person minus $5) They have a professional appearance, but their work is amateur, and their hourly rate is high. I am not a mechanic but also was genius enough to squirt water on the van obtain some info. DON'T RECOMMEND.
Horrible experience, my car was making a noise every time when I start braking and I explain this problem to Nelsons shop, so I drop off my car then a few hours later he calls me that my car was ready, I came to find my car still making the same noise and ask hem about it and he said that, that noise was not brake related... so he fix and charge me for something that he fix that was not the problem I came in for...Then I took my car to Sunrise auto repair and they found that, that noise was brake related and show me what parts were making that noise
