The newspaper s history dates to 1854 when two weekly papers were combined to form The Daily Patriot and Union, which reported extensively on the Civil War. The Patriot-News has won numerous state and national awards, including the APME Freedom of Information award and the National Press Club Freedom of Information prize. The newspaper is headquartered in Harrisburg and operates news bureaus in Carlisle, Camp Hill, Perry County, Lebanon County, Palmyra, Pa.; and Washington D.C.

        I only get a sunday and a Thursday paper and I have not gotten my Sunday paper for the last 3 weeks and only receive it on Thursday when they finally decide to get it to me I'm tired of calling every week to say I didn't get my paper and I do not understand what the news carrier is not getting in any trouble for this it is becoming habitual and I'm just tired of waiting for the paper every Sunday s
