My family has been ordering take out from this restaurant since it opened many years ago. There has obviously been a change in ownership as the customer service has continued to decline.

Here was my experience husband called to order our takeout to be ready at 4:30. I arrived at the restaurant at 4:35 and the child who works out front told me that the order wasn't ready. Okay, no problem. I waited another 10 - 15 minutes for the order and when she brought it out, I her to make sure there was sweet & sour sauce for the sweet & sour pork. I was told that the order was sweet & sour chicken...she said that is what my husband ordered. OKAY, I said fine, paid for the food and left.

I live nearly 20 miles from Meadville and when I arrived home and unpacked the food, we realized there were no egg rolls and no soup, which is supposed to come with the combination dinners. SO, we were shorted 3 egg rolls and 3 soups.

I called the restaurant to let them know this had happened and the woman I was speaking with hung up on me. I called back and said "you just hung up on me" and she laughed. I told her that it wasn't possible for me to drive a 40 mile round trip for egg rolls and she said I could come in the next day for the egg rolls and soup. Whatever...

I received a call about 15 mins later from the restaurant...spoke to a different woman who said the owner told her to call me. I explained the situation again and rather than just apologizing or offering something, she said that the woman who prepared our to go order said that the egg rolls and soup were in the bag. I said that I was sitting there looking at it and unless they were invisible, we never got them with our order.

Again, no apology...nothing. I told her that we were long-time customers but that was definitely going to change. There are two other Chinese restaurants from which to choose and I refuse to be treated in such a manner. She obviously didn't care, neither do I.

If you're looking for customer service, do not expect to find it here. I really miss the previous owners.
