I have taken my son here for close to 2 years to see Sasha. Sadly, she left so I made an appointment to see a new stylist. Show up for the appointment and arrive to see a "credit card machine broken/cash only" smiley face paper sign on the door. Walk in at 5:25 PM to see an empty salon with 2 older women standing around doing absolutely nothing. No friendly greeting. Tell them I have an appointment for my son (they seem to have no idea what I am talking about), ask why the card machine is broken. Am told it's cash only. I ask why I was not called, as I had an appt, as a courtesy, no response. I ask for them to take down my info and call me to take payment when the machine is up as it's not practical for me to drive all the way home to get cash, and even I did, we'd miss the appt time. Older lady with short brown hair and glasses, laughs, says no and turns her back and walks away. Lady with grey hair just stands there staring. I then explain again, that we have been coming here for 2 years, and this is not the service I am used to. Again she just walks away. Clearly these two ladies cared nothing about us as customers. Not only are they standing around doing nothing, they made no effort to give a courtesy call to warn me to bring cash, and just laughed in my face when I asked to have them call me for payment the next day. I'll take my 10 dollar tips on a kids' haircut somewhere else. Went down to Great Clips just down the street by Kroger, very busy, but still made time to see my son. Was treated like a valued customer.

Worst haircut I have ever had. Painful to sit and watch the cutter botch the cut. Tried to get her to fix things but it was futal.
I can only assume that most of the good reviews came from either employees or friends. I took my 2 year old grandson in for a haircut yesterday to the university-75 location next to the target. When we walked in the door, there were 2 girls standing at the counter. Neither girl greeted us or even smiled. The girl with the longer blonde hair asked if we had checked in online, which we had not. She got our information and told us it would be a while. I dont know if she was having a bad day or what her problem was but she was very unfriendly. While waiting, my grandson got a little stir crazy, being that he is only 2... he ran across the room and picked up a couple of shampoo products which fell on the floor. I went right over to him, picked up the shampoos and put them back in their place. I then took him outside and waited. We went back in after a while and my daughter (his mother) came in to wait with us. We were sitting next to the light switches and he stood up and flipped one of the switches. My daughter got up imediately and picked him up and apologized to the employee. The employee with the longer hair stopped cutting the customers hair that she was working on, turned to my grandson and glared at him for a good 15 seconds or more. There were other customers in seats waiting and you could see that they felt very uncomfortable about the way the hair stylist was glaring at my 2 year old grandson. I'm sure the man who's hair she was cutting felt very awkward about it too. We were so shocked about how we were treated from the second we walked in the door that we just walked out without getting his haircut. I am 52 years old and have never in my life been treated in such a rude way by any business. We found out afterward that the girl who had been so rude to us was actually the manager named Crystal. We are calling the headquarters to let them know how their manager treats their customers. I know we will never return and we will make sure everyone knows about the horrible experience we had. Reading the other reviews on google, I see that we are not the only ones that have had bad experiences being treated in a very rude way by the manager Crystal.
I went there as a new customer on 11/12/13 and had a real bad experience. This guy Parviz gave me the haircut and he was rude and rough. Unfortunately, people like him are the downfall of service oriented businesses like this. The guy was looking towards the door at all times, was incredibly rough and didn't ask one single thing through the cut. Didn't bother to ask me if I even liked the cut after the fact. Will not go back there again!
She is the best. Went in and told her what I wanted and got way more than I expected. I look fabulous! Very professional and pleasant.
