Seeking the "Old Nuevo Leon" we visited Canton Regio. I will not lie to you, on first appearance, we were disappointed it did not host the old menu of many long time favorites (our family has decades of patronage). But we stayed to sample the new menu. OMG! What a revelation of fabulous FLAVOR! I had the half roasted chicken. The chicken had a moist and tender. It was not over seasoned, not greasy (as many commercially made roasted chicken can be) . The presentation was jaw dropping. It came served in a stainless steel scale basket propped on an iron rack. The skewers too had their custom presentation, dangling them from a three prong iron stand. The sides are classic Mexican sides rich in flavor. Homage to the old Nuevo LeonL tradition of Nuevo Leon to give you a small appetizer (antojito) while you looked at your menu., I would certainly visit Canton Regio again with my finger licking good game-on! PS, try the flan too! WOW!!!
I was in town for work, and had rented a nearby place nearby for a period of 1 week. Unfamiliar with the area and swamped with work, I decided to order out; the decision really came down to Pizza or Chinese for delivery options, and found this place really close by with delivery. I don’t exactly recall what sides I ordered by I remember ordering the Spicy Basil Beef. For delivery, it was fresher than I expected and it was very well priced for what you got. The delivery guy was super nice and super quick. What I remember most about the night was working diligently on this report for the client and just smelling the aroma of the basil even after I had finished the meal. I ended up ordering out from the same place again the next day for lunch—was not disappointed. I rarely order twice from the same place on business travel (heck, you got an expense account why not explore right?), but this is one of those off cases.
When you are out on a business trip, you wont expect too much from unassuming locations and decent restaurants. The first day I had Pad Thai and BBQ ribs for delivery to my Hotel. It was pretty good. The second day I had Bourbon chicken and crab rangoon. It was still pretty good. The price was right, and delivery was fast. Was quite happy that my needs were fulfilled at this down to earth place.
What a great spot. Had family in town and their favorite Chinese restaurant was closed for spring break. So a quick search revealed this little restaurant. All six of us loved everything. We each ordered something different, and loved it all. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was wonderful. New family favorite! Try it! You'll like it!
Hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. One of my fav Chinese restaurant out there. I put this place up against any of those joints in Chinatown. Obviously don't go for the scenery, but please do stay for the food. Chicken broc, General Tso's chicken and an order of their garlic string beans. Jus my opinion, definitely give this place a go.
This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The menu is fairly extensive for a smaller place and it's the only one that I know of that serves shrimp toast as an appetizer. Yum! The food is always excellent as is the service. A special Kudo to Chef who made the meal for me and my family a distinct pleasure. I will be back again and again!
Great Sushi and Chinese food. The only problem is that delivery time is way too long. I waited for my order for almost 2 hours. No one answers the phone ever...I would dine in, but if you want it delivered make sure you order in advance so you are not stuck waiting for a long time.
This was the restaurants used by Nasarus Productions for one of our meetings at their office. Food was outstanding, even though this was set up in our wedding planner's foyey/office, I was impressed with all the extras for being catered/delivered food. Shrimp was nuts! Loved it.
My families obsession in China town we started going there for the Tapioca drinks then tried their food its delicious. They have the freshest fruit and tastiest dishes. The staff is always friendly . Parking is a bear anywhere in China be patient its worth the wait.
I've come here a total of many times and really loved everything. I tried, from the onion pancakes to the spicy tofu. Amazing dishes, quick staff, and good crowd. It’s a family owned restaurant so it's simple and practical.
