1. The owner is rude, unprofessional and knows nothing about children. 2. Often my son came home with injuries no one could explain and/or they had no idea had even occurred. Flap of skin hanging from the back of my son's ear with dried blood...no one ever noticed. Large knot on forehead and bruise to temple, never documented, etc.3. Often no one at desk when I arrived. No secure entry. 4. Son sent in underwear and plenty of clean extra pairs, but would return home in pullups and a bag of clean underwear. Complained I wasn't training at home.***Owner didn't like that I had concerns and that i told her she wasn't aware of what was happening with my child so she had her director call me to say the school wasn't a good fit for my son and I and he wasn't allowed back after that day. He had attended for a year without any documented behavioral issues. They refused to refund the days I had already paid for his attendance. A complaint is being filed with the state. No regard for my child and his best interests.

This is very disappointed to me they don't teach your kids anything but play time the management and is not friendly and they just like to receive your money once a week so parents please do your research before you enroll your child
I am very impressed with this daycare. The staff at Luella Academy are wonderful. My son is learning so much in his classsroom. His lead teacher Courtne Vandiver is wonderful. The other teachers are great as well.
This daycare is a great place. My children have been going their for three years. The center has great teachers and a great administration. This place feels like family and I highly recommend this to any parent looking for quality care. Go by and see for yourself.
My sons Jamell (3) and Berdell (1) have been attending Luella Academy since August 2012. Luella had everything I was looking for in a daycare/school for my boys. The hours are great, close to my job, every class has a curriculum even for the babies (which is a plus in my book) and they give a report everyday of what your child learned and what they ate. When I took a tour of the facility I knew Luella is where my boys needed to be. The director Ms. Jennifer, Assistant Managers Ms. April, Ms. Evony and the staff are awesome and I love how they know every child's name and they know every parent and grandparent that comes through there doors. Before my 3 year old started at Luella he couldn't say his name but now he knows his name, colors, numbers, and other kids names. He has advanced so much in the short time he has been there and he talks about the teachers so much and they love him. My youngest son just turned 1 years old and he is doing wonderful. They tell me everyday how much he improves on everything. I would high recommend them to another parent.
