She was told she would be out of there in 45 mins. It took 2 hours just to get the car into the bay, then another 45 to actually change the oil. That was just the beginning of the trouble.She came home and stated they charged for an extra 1.5 qts of synthetic oil. (Extra $10) on top of the 5 quarts that's included in the price. I KNOW that's impossible to have a 4 cylinder car with 6.5 quarts of oil. Sure enough, the dipstick was over the full line by a lot. The oil was DIRTY, like they didn't even change it. Completely black. (Should be a waffle syrup brown/golden). The next thing I noticed was the bottom plastic shield/rain guard wasn't screwed back to the car, it was dangling. Good thing she didn't lose it on the way home. The other thing was whoever was filling the oil, managed to get it over half the top of the engine. There was oil everywhere on the engine. Finally, the steering wheel was all oily from the mechanic's hands. The buttons he tried to push to reset our reminder were all oily.Took the car back and asked them to fix the problems. At this point the manager was ok. Drained the oil, filled up the engine with new oil. It was the wrong weight. The manual calls for specific weight oil due to warranty, they put in different viscosity. Manager started getting upset, saying "It's the same, won't hurt a thing". I told him I want it to be the CORRECT weight due to warranty on engine. He got all cranky with me but I told him they better do it correct.Long story, (not) short, I will never go back to this place. About a year ago there was a different manager. He was good. The one they got now, husky, short dude doesn't give a rat's you know what about customers. Shame.
I walked in on a monday, april 10, 2017 with no appointment and they diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me options. I then had them fix it and they had me back on the road quickly and for a very reasonable price. Great business, i will continue to come here.
I had my auto towed to Rainbow Muffler for a complete engine repair and they are very hospitable and extremely professional. I had to trust their expertise as I was in Coral Springs Florida and the car in Georgia-A gift to my grandson-the car needed complete overhaul work. I cannot thank them enough for the kindness and professional consideration of Ms Sherry and Mr, Steve,,,This is a First Class Operation with good Honest People (which is hard to find). The guys just don't know as much as the owner James claims they do. And the so called manger Gary, my wife knows more about cars than he does. Nice guys but not as knowledgeable as they put out to be.
This morning I dropped in on Carver Tire Pros to have my oil changed. I have been procrastinating because so many local shops play games trying to trick women into services they don't need. I can honestly say that this is not the way things are done at Carver. I was one of 3 ladies in the waiting area and none of us were pressured into extra services. The price was fair, and even though the shop was busy, I didn't have to wait long.We have 4 vehicles in our household; you can bet I'll be back.To any reader concerned about the disgruntled employee review on this site, I say, "Take it for what it's worth." While waiting today, I witnessed Mr. Carver's interaction with dozens of customers - in person and on the telephone. He is very courteous and professional, and the technicians are very proficient; and that's why his business is hopping.
Keys Ferry Automotive is my go to automotive shop for all of my personal & business automotive needs. When it comes to customer service they rank far beyond average. Their quality and professional work keeps my vehicles running in tip top condition. One of my large commercial vehicles broke down at my home while I was out of town, called Keys Ferry, they went by the house got it up & running. It's always good to know what you're getting into, at Keys Ferry you know just that, if there's a problem once they get started they'll call me to see how I wish to proceed. Most customers have horrific stories about auto mechanic but I am well pleased with this automotive shop.
Yesterday was my third time using this establishment for an oil change. They Dont keep you for hours and the customer service is great. The prices are very reasonable.
I have not recieved quality service @Quality Auto. We go to mechanics because we need help, help we're willing to pay for, I was told work was done on my car that was not done, and when asked proof of work being done. There was nothing to show.My vehicle still had the same problem. Then i was told by Chad the owner that he missed diagnosed and of course its going to cost me a few hundred dollars more. Needless to say I went somewhere else. If you would've told me this would happen upon walking in the shop i wouldnt have believed you cause everyone seem so nice. You would've thought when he told me his mechanics walked out on him i wouldve took as a sign but i guess thats what makes a con a con. Disappointed
I took my vehicle in for a noise. The OWNER looked at it and gave me his recommendation, which I took at face value and told him to proceed. After talking to a friend who owns the same type of vehicle I came to found that the service I was sold on was unnecessary. I called to see what phase of repair they were in and they had the part removed. I informed them to stop until I researched things further, after which I discovered that my friend was correct and this guy was selling me on a MUCH more expensive option when it could very easily be fixed using a different method. When I called back I was informed that they put the part back on but now the vehicle wouldn't start. WHAT!?!?! So I said stop and they continued and now what was a perfectly functional vehicle with a noise is now a brick that won't start...with a ridiculous $700+ bill for services. By this time the owner and I had had some heated arguments where he screamed and yelled at me over the phone treating me like I was a moron. This OWNER obviously knew that he was caught trying to screw me and was flustered, responding in the only manner he knew how. When I said I was on my way to get my vehicle he told me he would only accept cash for the work...again...WHAT!?!?! He obviously has done this before and knew that I would dispute the charges on my card. Now I'm out hundreds in junk bills & a tow fee to a REAL shop to fix the original and new issue they created. Nothing shy of criminal
This shop never ceases to amaze me. I have had my Jeep Wrangler for 6 years and have had the occasional problem... East 81 Auto is the only place I have taken my car since I have had it and it is the only place that I would ever recommend to someone for them to have work done on their car. Not once have they charged me for something that didn't fix the problem. They are the most honest auto repair team you will ever find and they are truly good at what they do.
