Sick neglected animals. They don't care about.

Bought sick animals couldn't get refunded and they killed them in front of me . Then ask did I wanted another sick neglected pet they had. # mad#sad# make a contribution. Don't adopt from them. Go to the real humane society . They are rude too.

You will be called not a good pet owner if you lose your pet. They do not care about you, nor your pets.

If your dog ends up here.... He will act different than before... My friends dog already is still sad and scared.

These reviews don't relate to the Henry County Animal Control Shelter I know about. The Henry Humane Society is near Animal Control and they are open by appointment or a few hours on Saturday. So maybe the one reviewer who found a locked door is talking about the Humane Society and not the Animal Control Shelter.

This animal control does more than most. They are open 6 days a week. Dogs and cats are vaccinated. They are microchipped when they are adopted. They have a low-cost spay clinic every month. Injured dogs are seen by a vet. Not sure why a reviewer would tell people not to take their pets here because they don't even take owned pets! Their adoptable animals are on the Internet and photos of the pets that are picked up stray are on their website. As far as Animal Control dog pounds go, this place is as good as it gets!

Many people have serious concerns about difficulties in getting any information from the staff and the lack of compassionate care sick or injured animals are given as well as how little effort is put into saving animals who end up in this facility.

Calling the Henry County Animal Control facility a shelter is inaccurate and misleading to the public.

Animals left in this facility have very little chance of anything but a death sentence. Do NOT place your dog or cat here thinking they will be safe and will find another home.
