The short version...management is rude and this place engages in business practices intended to bring shame and embarrassment upon its clients and is best avoided. Go to any of the dozens of other laser spas in the Valley.



The long version...I purchased a groupon deal to try this place out; the day before my 3rd of 6 visits they called to confirm my appt...I asked to reschedule for the following day. When I arrived for the rescheduled appt the receptionist said I had a note in my file to pay a $25 cancellation fee for the rescheduled appt due to cancellation less than 24h before my appt time.



I asked the receptionist if I could instead simply forfeit one of my remaining visits rather than pay the fee (since I had prepaid for all 6 visits and the cancellation fee was really to compensate the business for lost income from a missed, and unpaid, appt) I was told to go ahead and get ready for my session and the staff would check with the offsite manager.



After I disrobed and prepped for the session, the receptionist knocked on the treatment room door and told me I had to pay $25 immediately or they would not provide me with any further services (despite the fact that I had prepaid for 6 sessions and was willing to forfeit the missed appt).



I was required to get re-dressed, go back to the front desk, and submit $25.



This whole fiasco was embarrassing and unnecessary. They could have easily just told me I had to pay the $25 after my session and before I was able to schedule the remainder of my sessions.



Although I was a 'groupon' client, I should not have been treated so poorly. The whole point of offering reduced price services is to encourage positive reviews and repeat business. This badly managed "spa" acted ridiculously and engages in bad business practices.



There is absolutely no reason to go to this place given the numerous options available throughout the Valley. I won't be returning after being shamed and embarrassed and I don't recommend anyone else go to this place either. The fact that there is hardly ever anyone there should have been my first clue.
