IBC SUCKS. I went in 14 days ago to close an account and spoke to Wendy Martinez about the matter. (IBC Brodaway Mcallen) Before leaving she assured me the bank account would close in 2 days because there were 2 transactions still pending. 14 days later the bank account is still open with 2 overdrafts of $35 each. The account DOES NOT have the overdraft courtesy IBC so generously offers, so no transactions should have been approved without funds. Today, March 29,2016, I go see the same teller, Wendy Martinez, to ask her why the account is still open. She ignorantly explains that it is my fault that the account is still open and that I needed to sign paper work that was missing. I tell her that I asked her for all that to be done when I walked in the bank 14 days ago. She continues with an arrogant explanation that she does not make mistakes and therefore I must pay the overdraft fees. I ask to see a supervisor and she replies; Well he's not here, he went to see the dentist. Really??
