DSL Dog Training and Boarding

DSL IS AWESOME. They really do speak dog. Our pooches have been trained, boarded and enjoyed daycare there for a long time. The staff is attentive, thorough and friendly. Their new facility allows for all-weather doggie fun and frolic which our pooch adores. It feels great to see her tail wagging like crazy when I drop her off at daycare. She can't wait to play and comes home exhausted. Sleeps for a day! I cannot say enough good things about DSL. They are our preferred choice and we are grateful to be able to rely on them. They have made us and our dogs very happy over the years!

I highly recommend Alfredo and his team . As a veterinarian who has worked with Alfredo and his clients, I have seen many success stories. Many times he has taken dogs with difficult behavioral issues and transformed them into well adjusted members of the family. I recently sent a puppy we adopted on a whim to Alfredo for bootcamp. I thought he had great potential to be a great dog, but with our work schedules we did not have the time to invest into the training needed to help with his mouthiness and his desire to herd small children and cats. He is doing much better than I could have hoped for, and jokingly, I think the small children should be the next ones to camp. Alfredo and his staff were very caring and professional throughout the entire process. Highly recommend.

I love bringing my dog to DSL! Alfredo did a great job with one on one training, really working with my pup and me to understand each other. My dog has a lot of anxiety issues but after just one session with Alfredo, he was excited to be there and ready to play and learn. The daycare and boarding at DSL have been a great way to work on those issues, too. Alfredo and his staff, who are friendly to dogs and owners alike, understand what limitations my dog has but also work with him to encourage progress. And I love that they post a ton of pics to Facebook so I can see how my dog is doing. Email and text communication is great, too. Overall, they are attentive, caring, and knowledgeable!

Alfredo took on our young, excitable and willful pup and turned her into a well-behaved, much calmer dog. We were not sure that the three-week boot camp would even work but she is now as close to perfect as we need her to be. The difference is astonishing and we are so grateful. Thanks, Alfredo!

RC is my young Cocker Spaniel who is full of energy and likes to create mischief by stealing things and running when you try to retrieve. He also jumps all over people and rushes out any open door, without permission.
3 weeks at DSL boot camp and he does not touch anything that is not his, sits at an open door and waits for instructions, sits in front of people or stays in his place when told to go there. I had a stranger come through the front door yesterday and he did not even know I had dogs until he stepped in the family room and saw them in their beds in the stay command. They did not even bark annoyingly as in the past. A true blessing so that now I can just have peace and joy in my pets instead of being agitated by bad behavior. I am sure any fur parent knows that feeling when you are so frustrated with bad behavior and regret making the decision to get the pet. That is all over now. We are both so much better off for this training. RC and I both enjoy working the steps of reinforcement together. Thank You to everyone at DSL.

DSL is the best. We have a special rescue dog that we needed to board. They have been great with him and he has become so much better since he goes there and plays with the other dogs. The fact that DSL sends updated text messages as well as post pictures of all the pups on their facebook page is great to see while we are away. My other dogs love being there too. When we turn into the parking lot, they all get so excited. The fact someone lives there is a real plus too. The staff is so professional, and really loves their 4 legged friends. As previously I have worked at a kennel in Charlotte, I knew exactly what to look for when I went on the tour. Everything was exactly as it should be. I would highly recommend them and trust them with my dogs!

I have been taking my two dogs to DSL for boarding for over a year now. They are the best! My dogs always come home happy!

Customer service is great, but more importantly, our dogs LOVE going there. We have utilized both daycare and boarding and know that our dogs are cared for and loved. I also enjoy the Facebook pictures posted daily, where we can see the fun they have there. DSL was recommended by a friend, and I'm so glad she did.

We highly recommend DSL. They take excellent care of our 2 pups, respond quickly to questions, and post 100's of pics every day so you can see your pet interacting. Our 9-month old boxer/lab has had a few training sessions with Alfredo (the real dog whisperer) and the changes in Ranger were amazing! All of the staff really do speak dog as their second language!

Amazing Staff! Took excellent care of my 2 dogs while I was out of town. I loved the daily photos of the all the dogs during play time! They've definitely earned a repeat customer with me, and I recommend them to anyone looking to board, or for daycare (I've also heard great things about the results of their training services).
