We at American tanning take racism very serious. If clients use volitile language and offensive racist slurs towards another client or our employees , we do not tolerate that and your business will need to be taken somewhere else no matter what your issue may be... Have a blessed day from your manager at American Tanning :)
My 2 daughters and I had a couple issues we wanted to discuss with the OWNER. The manager wouldn't let us. She said we had to talk to her. We told her the girl's were very nice, but like to make us wait at times why they talk on their cell phones on personal calls. She said they were allowed to be on the phones!! WHAT! then we told her several times we had to yell out of our rooms to get our beds turned on. She said it was the weather or technical problems. Thats funny, as soon as the worker hit the button they came on! She was VERY RUDE to us, yelling at us the whole time and cutting us of. She was so unprofessional! I work with the public too and my customer's always come first!! I couldn't believe how we were treated! OH and we were told to go somewhere else. REALLY! So said the owner just lost 3 paying customers.
Britney is awesome! She accommodated me and even came in to meet me when she was not at the facility and explain everything to me and the packages. It's always very very clean and kept. The people that work there are friendly and I have never once had an issue using beds. I have always been able to get right in. She also changes her bulbs frequently which is awesome. Love this place! I would suggest it to anyone!
BUYER BEWARE!! This is my first negative review on a business. This is the worst tanning salon I have ever encountered. Since the new owner (Brittany) it's been one issue after another. I came in to use the visits I had purchased under the old owner (Ashley) and was told they weren't in the system. She did not offer to compensate me for the 7 or 8 visits I had left and offered me an unlimited level 5 package at $90.00. Which might sound like a deal but they do everything to make it impossible to tan. Starting with, 1) You can't ever get in to use the bed. I went in the very next day after I purchased the package at 6pm and there was no one in sight. The sign in their window clearly states that they take their last walk up at 6:45pm and will possibly close at 7 if there's no more appointments. I got there at 6pm, 45 minutes before they take their last walkup, and there was no one there. Very dissatisfying. 2) New "rule", today I tried to walk in to tan and was told because of a state issue they have to give the bed rest before someone else can tan when there was nobody in sight. I asked her how many more appointments she had tonight and could not answer me. After I complained she let me tan for a whole 9 minutes, just sayin the bed was ice cold! I'm confident it was "completely cooled off". 3) They changed the rules to appointment only which is, due to my work schedule, impossible especially when they have signs in every room saying you will be charged if you don't cancel within 2 hrs of your appointment. When I brought this to the attention of the girl working she started shaking her head and saying they just "haven't had time to take those signs down". I laughed. If you want to get a tan this summer don't come here!! You have a better chance at getting a tan in the dead of winter than this place.
It's ridiculous that just because there is a new owner, previously purchased packages are no longer honored. How does she expect to keep clients?
Since the new owner Brittany has taken over a few months ago the business isn't the same. We bought $300 in tanning sessions and spray tans around Black Friday. When the business switched owners (without notice) we were not given credit for our tans we previously bought from the old owner (Ashley). I told Brittany it isn't right not to honor the packages we just bought. She proceeded to tell me when she bought the tanning shop the previous owner (Ashley) was not suppose to sell anymore visits, but she did. We agreed I could keep my Level 4 visits and my Level 5 visits but could only keep 1 spray tan visit (I bought 10). I was okay with this agreement until I went in and was notified that my visits were about to expire again. I had 17 visits but they mysteriously disappeared. The owner constantly asks me personal questions about my girlfriend every time I go in which is very unprofessional. "I wish you guys would just get married so I can remember your last name. Are you guys planning on getting married anytime soon?" She even went as far as asking my girlfriend to coach basketball with her. I was very patient with the new owner as she was just starting to begin running her business but she is very unprofessional and sketchy when it comes to treating her customers right. I have been in the salon several times and have heard other customers complaining about the same issues. The beds always have an issue when I'm there. One time the fuse blew and the beds didn't work (it happens). The other time she set my bed but it only worked for a few seconds and than shut off displaying dirty. I tried to yell out but she couldn't hear me, so I redressed and let her know there was an issue. Little annoying mishaps happen every time I'm there. I have 7 visits left (as of now...that could always change) I will not be using because of the terrible business I have dealt with in the past. I will not be back.
I think the food is really good. They make great egg rolls and wonton soup. The service is always good.
I've ordered general tso chicken and Wong tong soup, it's always made perfect n tasty. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
My boyfriend and I had their food last night and now we both have food poisoning. This is now the second time we got it from eating here
Love all their egg rolls, especially their king sized shrimp one! And their sweet and sour chicken is amazing!
