I went to visit Penny and Donna when I was 8 months pregnant with my first child. I was so worried about leaving a 12 week old infant with strangers, but my husband and I did not have family close and working was a necessity. I met Penny and she gave me a warm greeting, took me on a tour, and immediately made me feel like home. I had questions about cloth diapering, and Donna was there to share her personal experience and to confirm that we could even have the service pick up and drop off at Endeavor to make things easier. After the visit, I felt confident that Endeavor was the right choice.Penny has a heart of gold and truly loves my children as much as I do. She is their second mom, my own personal shoulder to cry on, and the rock that got me through lots of sick days and worry with my first daughter, who had endless ear infections and constant fevers. Upon the arrival of my second daughter, Penny drove to the hospital, met us there, and took my first daughter home to her house so I would not worry about her. She always has my family's best interest at heart, no matter what. We consider her part of our family. When my daughters were babies, I used to stop by Endeavor on my lunch break to nurse, and a comfortable private area was always available. I was encouraged to treat Endeavor like home--to use the sink to clean up, the refrigerator or freezer if needed, etc. It really made my transition back to work so much less stressful. The teachers are all wonderful. Regardless of the classroom, I felt like they all loved my kids, and wanted the best for them. Now, from the point of view of my children... My older daughter had friends of every age group and it was almost impossible to reign her in to go home when I picked up in the evenings because she was too busy playing and having fun. I made the decision to become a stay at home mom recently, but she still talks about "school" and her friends there and activities she enjoyed. She learned so much in the 2.5 years she spent at Endeavor; the teachers are so committed to the kids and as a parent you receive daily feedback. They keep journals, take pictures, and document progress, so even though you can't be there, you don't miss anything. There is a focus on being outside in the fresh air to play, plant gardens, discover insects, build, create, and let imaginations soar. All in all, if you are looking for a place that provides the comfort of home with the structure to help your children learn and grow to the best of their ability, Endeavor is the place.

"We were excited to finally find a place that not only had the kind, loving staff and age-appropriate curriculum we were looking for, but also met our needs when it came to offering healthy and organic food. We truly believe there is no other place in Cincinnati that can even come close to the dedication the teachers have for our children's education, health and most importantly, happiness. The small class sizes allow the teachers and staff to really get to know each child well and incorporate his/her interests into the curriculum. The land surrounding the facility lets kids explore nature trails, plant gardens and see wildlife (what other place can say they have nature trails?!) We could not have been happier with Endeavor, and neither could our three daughters!"
