UPDATE- We've not received our refund. We've left messages (they won't pick up), sent emails. Today I finally got Misty. She said Danny was leaving town for 2 weeks and will send me a refund on the 16th of April. I asked if Danny indicated why he didn't send it within a week as he stated when he returned it? They no longer have a bonefide address so they are difficult to have served for small claims. But, they are still picking up tv's so it can be done.
Our 13 month old big-screen started ""strobing"". I googled local repair shops & Delta came up. Their website is impressive & they looked legit so I called them & Misty told me she'd have someone out the next day. She said they usually could fix it on the spot with parts on the truck, or can take it with them and have it done within a week. They came the next day to pick it up. They look at it, said it was the ""motherboard"" and they'd have to order it. He wrote us an estimate of $500 and said it would be 3 to 5 days. Danny insisted on payment upfront- reluctantly my husband wrote them a personal check and we wait to hear from them.
After a week of hearing nothing we call them. After a run-around we're told that the wrong part came in - had to be re-order. It'd be another week. Ok, stuff happens, we wait another week, ten days, two weeks. We call & are put off again. So many excuses, I don't remember which one it was this time.
We get the TV back after a month. It works for a week & same thing happens. ""Danny"" picks it back up. Says he'll get back to us in a week. 3 weeks later, still not fixed, wrong parts, waiting to hear from Samsung. We're now going on 3 months. I start looking at reviews and am sick at what I see. We call them. Misty tells me (after the usual on hold where I guess she's coming up with some story with Danny) that the tv is fixed. He's going to ""burn it in"" for a few days and she'll call me at the end of the week to set up a delivery date. I ask her, are you SURE you'll be calling me at the end of the week? Absolutely she says. Friday afternoon comes, no call. My husband calls and gets the runaround AGAIN. He's furious. He tells MIsty if Danny doesn't call him back right away, he's calling the police. So, we get a call from Danny right away. He tells us, the tv isn't fixed as what was originally said. He tells us now he is waiting for Samsung to guide him. My husband tells him he wants the tv returned as is. We want it back. We want a refund minus the service call so we can have someone reputable fix it. He starts to tell us that he's absorbed a lot of cost, but my husband shuts him down. He's wishy washy on when he can return it. We tell him, give us an address and we'll pick it up. He says his shop is shut down and it's a personal residence and he'll bring it back on Monday. On Monday, Misty calls and says it'll have to be Tues between 10 -12. I arrange my schedule to be here and at 12:15 they're still not here. I call, Misty is very sarcastic with me and I tell her if the tv isn't here within the hour that I'm going to the police. At this point, it's theft. They won't return it, they won't allow us to pick it up. They've kept our tv and our money. Within the hour Danny is in my driveway with the tv. Still not fixed. He carries it in, tells me his ""accountant"" will send me the refund. He says he is not the business owner, that the business owner is someone named ""Raina"" but he wasn't allowed to give a last name. He said he can't give me my money back because he doesn't handle the money----although he is the one who took our money.
What these people are doing is stealing. I've never seen anything like this in my life. How are they allowed to continue these business practices. Multiple complaints with the BBB as well. Someone needs to shut these people down!!
I'm putting my name because they most definitely know who I am. My family is new to the Washington area and back in mid October one of our TVs went screwy. I looked for a repair shop in the Marysville area and they popped up. I neglected to check out the company yet contacted them and they were extremely prompt to come and look at our TV. Danny (owner/tech/excusemaker) stated that one of our boards needed repaired and that it would cost about $500. We paid him $400 in cash and got a receipt. Danny advised that the parts should be in within the next week and it would only take a day to put the parts in so we were looking at being without our TV for about a week and a half tops. Two weeks passed and started getting the run around. Excuses were that apparently it was something else all the way to that they had to email Philips to get further instruction. Finally, after many attempts I decided to attempt to get my TV back and get refunded my money for repair minus the fee for the service call. Misty the receptionist or whoever she is makes excuses for Danny's whereabouts or missed calls and decides to answer the phone when she wants. Finally December 2, Danny brings back our TV which looks as if it is untouched and left a receipt stating that the refund would be sent from his supposed accountant in Seattle by mail on Dec. 23rd. Didn't happen...surprise surprise. Contacted his office and of course the accountant was off until after the beginning of the year. Next excuse was that the accountant mailed it to the wrong address and it was returned. Supposedly then the accountant was mailing it to their shop....which I found out later was shut down. Misty told me this Monday which was about 5 days after it was supposedly mailed, that it was received but Danny couldn't deliver it to me until today 1/13/12. I told her I would come pick it up and she said that the shop was no longer open but she have Danny call me to arrange something. No phone call from Danny! Surprise! I left a number of messages throughout the week and finally reached Misty today who claimed she got none of my messages. She then said Danny would bring the refund to my home between 6-8pm TODAY....I repeated it several times and recorded it....she guaranteed he would....SURPRISE!!!! It's now almost 9pm and no Danny and no refund. I have receipts and tape recorded calls regarding this willful negligence that this company is displaying and it looks like it has been going on for awhile. I'm not standing for this type of treatment. I am proceeding to file a complaint with the BBB and then seeking an attorney. Any good comments have seemingly shown up all on one particular day and I wouldn't trust any of them. I plan on suing to the full extent of monies and seeking to get the authorities involved to shut this type of crime down. Good job Danny and Delta TV from stealing from a family with four children that had just relocated to the area...do you feel good spending our money? Don't be a fool and use Delta TV. They are scam artists, incompetent, and have bad business practices. Read the bad reviews - they are all true. I have a feeling these ""good"" reviews are fictitous. They require you to prepay for your repair and the do not repair your TV. You get the run-around, they don't return your phone calls - they just take your money. What a scam! They could not fix our TV and promised a refund, then they picked up shop in Marysville and are no where to be found. DO NOT USE DELTA TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I just wanted to thank Danny for being an understanding and informative technician. i made an appointment for someone to come out and fix my tv and Danny showed up. he told me that he would have to order the parts and that was fine, but the thing that made him really stand out was that he was willing to work with me so i could get my tv fixed. there are not many businesses left that will work with the customer. thanks Danny!!

I found Delta TV Repair under a Google search and they were the only company that worked on my brand of TV. I set up an appointment for that same day and I got my TV back two weeks later. that was a little bit too long for me, but it is fixed and works great and that makes me happy!!
the only complaint i have for this company was that they said they would be at my house between 3-5 and they showed up at 6. everything else was great they came out to my house, looked over my TV, told me that it was a quick and cheap fix. they even had all the parts needed with them so he was able to fix it right there at my house. It took about 45 mins. and my TV has had no problems since. despite what all these ""bad"" reviews say, all small businesses need is a chance and i took one and it paid off.
I came across Delta TV Repair while doing a Google search. I clicked on city search and read the reviews. i decided not to take it for face value and did my own research. i looked on BBB website and they have 2 complaints in three years, (both resolved) and there is NO RATING AT ALL. I looked up other search engines and 90% of all the ""bad"" reviews are because Delta TV Repair is said to be another business. out of all the ""bad"" reviews on here only 5 of the 10 that don't bring up this other company. everyone will get angry people for whatever reason whether it be because it took too long for them or it was too much and there are those people that no matter what one does they will just never be happy. after all my research i took a chance with them. I called them up and they were very informative. the helped me to figure out whether or not it was even worth it to fix it. I have a 65"" Hitachi and it kept clicking off and me not having any kind of electronics knowledge i figured i should just get a new one, but the said it was just a fuse that needed to be replaced, he didn't have the fuse in his van so i had to wait for him to come back the next today (due to my schedule), but he fixed it in under 30 min. and my TV is working better than before. he even helped me hook up my surround sound at no additional cost. i just hope other look on their own and give Delta TV a chance.
I called Delta TV Repair after my Tv would not power on. The Ad in the Yellow Pages looked like these people were experienced. Danny showed up at my house the same day. He tested the TV and said all the fuses looked good but that my ""Main Digital Board"" needed to be replaced. He told me it would be $400 to replace. He informed me he would not take credit cards b/c they were changing merchants. He would only accept cash or a check. I didn't have either so he said he would take the TV and I needed to bring cash to the office the next day to order the part and do the repair. I read the reviewson Delta TV Repair later that day and noted the ""F"" rating and got my TV back the next morning. Come to find out the problem was a bad fuse, replaced for $3. Works perfectly!
I called for a tv repair man to come to my house, they came out that day. the tech, Danny was very pleasant and informative. He explained everything to me. He made it super easy for me. He took my tv back to his shop and i got it back in less then 7 days. That was over a month ago and i have not had any problems with it since. I will definitely refer them to others and if i have another tv that needs to be fixed i will be calling Delta TV Repair again.
i went to a tv repair place in Everett and they totally screwed up my tv. they jimmy rigged the lamp so it would work and whatever they ""fixed"" the totally f*%$ed it up. i was going to throw it away, but i was refereed to Delta TV Repair by a friends. After reading the reviews the last thing i wanted was go to another crappy repair center, but my friend strongly advice the bad review on here were not true and that it was the best experience he had had. so i took a chance. the repair man come out looked at my tv and informed me that the place before totally messed up my tv, but it was not beyond repair. he gave me a quotes and because of my situation he gave me a 10% discount . he took my tv and i had it back in 10 day. I am glad that i listened to my friends. Don't believe that bad reviews.
I was going back and fourth about getting my tv fixed, i called around to get quotes. I called Delta and was told their prices and the reason i chose them was because they said i would only get charged for them coming out if i didnt want my tv fixed. i figured to spend $45.00 to find out whether or not it was worth fixing was worth it. they came out to my house, Danny was very helpful and pleasant he knew what he was talking about, which made me very comfortable in choosing them to fix my tv.....i hope that when you look at this shop you give them a chance.
I think these reviews are very misleading. i look for a tv repair place online, and delta tv repair was the closes one. i had my doubts because of all the reviews, but because they were closest to my house I decided to give them a chance. i got a repair my out to my house that very same day and they even worked with me on payments for the cost of the repair. (most businesses wont do that). I am very please that i decided to go with delta tv repair. If i need another tv fixed i will be calling again.
Heed the warning from other websites. I took a chance because they were the closest in my area. But...... I just had my worst experience with a repair shop!!!! They had my TV for more than a month and I kept getting the same runaround on when it will repaired. It's either, the "tech is out or busy with a customer", or "faulty parts delivered to them", or "too many customers",... etc. No updates and they will not return your call. Promises that within days it will be done but when that day comes around,... same BS!!!! I hope they are not using my TV for spare parts.

I made the wrong choice. I only took a chance because it was the closest in my area. It's been over a month of promises that my TV will be done. Price too high, no updates, tech unavailable or always out busy doing something, will not return your call, and a bunch of other BS. Look for other shops. My worst experience!!!!

I called them before I saw these reviews. I was very concerned. However, other than it being a little hard to get them on the phone and being a day later than originally quoted, they did just fine. The technician was pleasant and knowledgeable. The ultimate proof will be if there are any related problems with the TV in the future. For now, we are satisfied with the service we received.
crooks!they have had our tv for 7 months, same as what I've already read, ""Danny"" is still there, young guy that picked up the tv, faulty parts over and over again, not calling to give updates, brought the tv back once, worked for a week, he picked it up again and has had it ever since, due to ""faulty parts"" The girl that answers the business phone keeps telling us he will call us back, and twice we get pocket calls from his cell while ""Danny"" is at either a bar or party. Our calls are still not being returned, I've sent the info to ""Get Jesse""(why not) Marysville police are next!
This is by far the worst company in the world and I'm comparing that to Wal-mart. I brought my tv in over two months ago for a simple fix of my cable outlet in the back of the tv. They told me it would take one week to fix. Two months later I still don't have my tv. Every time I call they give me the runaround telling me it would be ready in a few days. I finally got a call from them telling me it was ready to be picked up, but when I drove 30 miles to get it they told me that it was in woodinville and won' be back for another few days. Terrible service and their pricing is horrible too. Only went to this company cause they were the closest around. Will never to service with them again and if my tv isn't fixed when I do get it back then I'll go get Jesse from King5. I recommend no one go to this compnay A bunch of crooks!!!
I'm very surprised with the outcome of this repair. After all ive read online i feel compassion and mercy for this company because all these reviews are false ) : I was only calling for a price but the guy on the phone was outstanding and i gave in and set up an appointment and he came out and helped me out greatly and my Samsung dlp is better than ever! All i would say is give these guys a shot and challenge them the same way i did and they wont let you down.
Well i took a chance with Delta Tv after all the reviews ive seen online. What ive learned from this is that not all things you read about some companies are true. They helped me out with my 50 vizio plasma and were very affordable and time friendly. I would recommend them to anyone that has tv problems.

Wow, got to these reviews and realized i'm not the only one that has been taken advantage of by DELTA TV!!!. I have now taken a look at the BBB website and these guys owned TELESYSTEMS.They had 101 complaints filed against them 101 that is mind boggling why has nothing been done to these people they are SCAMMERS!!! There was no communication at all I had to contact them every time I wanted to find anything out on what was going on with the repair. These guys had my tv for four months and were never able to repair it at all after many times of them (DANNY) saying they have received faulty parts and having to send them back I finally gave the owner (EDWIN) one final chance to fix the tv after him saying he was going to pay for parts out of his own pocket he still was not able to communicate or fix the TV so I called it quits and told him I wanted my tv back. He told me I could come pick the tv up that day but would have to wait ANOTHER 9 days to receive my money that I gave him to fix the tv. When I came to pick the tv up he had my money in full but had decided to break my LCD screen on my tv. How wonderful, this place is the absolute worst company that I have ever dealt with in my life and would HIGHLY ADVISE nobody ever use this company unless you feel like getting SCREWED OVER!!! THANKS DELTA TV or should I say TELESYSTEMS I am suprised there are no complaints on BBB about DELTA TV
