This building holds a division of the county called Family Court Services, or FCS. This place is mandatory for those with a custody case filed in the county. It's a loosely run ship with no oversight and parents are denied their right to due process, as in fact, "mediation" is actually an arbitration.

Be prepared to spend lots of cash on an attorney to make sure this place doesn't trash your case or pin you with a low-level mediator. The office staff are a range of totally clueless and ditsy to folks wanting to do the right thing but also state they hate their jobs because the place is a corrupt cesspool of lawlessness where the kids get the short end of the stick.

FCS feeds the judges false information, on many occasions, and this should not happen. Mediators have been known to trap parents in rooms with no witnesses and harass them or lie about what they say during the mediations. Mediators should stop case-fixing and there should be transparency about FCS's direct communications with Dept. of Child Support Services. FCS churns parents and kids through its doors, battered, broken and broke.
