Dr. Klar is by far the worst veterarian I've ever met. She disliked me personally for whatever reason which caused her to neglect my dog. He has passed now and because she felt "I love my dog too much" as if that is possible.



For almost two years I was back and forth because I knew something was wrong with him, however she wouldn't hear of it. I spared no expense on him and had to actually insist on tests she said weren't needed (I was right which was confirmed) but indeed was wrong. Nothing worse than knowing your four legged child is sick but are getting nowhere.

I had a Shih-tau and he was in great health and spoiled rotten, when things got bad very quickly I brought him in because he was having labored breathing and was lethargic. Knowing my dislike for Dr. Kale reassured me that Dr. Gerrish would look at him. She was so sweet and understanding and took X-rays of his chest only to find out his heart was 3 ribs too big. Devastated I asked if I'd brought him in the day prior would he have been better "this didn't happen overnight it has been present for quite a while". Congestive heart failure was the issue and it is common among Shih-tzu's AND the worst thing is every symptom I described him as having WERE all typical of this and there is medicine that had he been given sooner would have regulated his heart.

Unfortunately he died the next day in my arms without given a chance to live longer. He had no arthritis, no gingivitis, perfect teeth, the Drs. Thought he was 4-5 years old when he was 10, as he was so healthy. Dr. Klar was astonished as she had two nurses assist her in holding my lil man down as she put a test strip in his eye, insisting he wouldn't cooperate, he didn't even resist, and I saved his eye by going back each day to have him checked....many hundreds of dollars, and she was speechless. I told her if I was there he knew it was needed and wouldn't get vicious, once again she didn't believe me.

I had testing for his thyroid done and it was over 100$ and she never called to inform me of the results I had to call to get them, because it wasn't done in house but was sent away.

This shows how desperate I was to figure out what was wrong. It was negative. How could she have not listened you cannot be a professional veterarian if you cannot recognize signs of a condition that is available online and in a book.

Her negative judgement of me cost my baby boy his life and years of suffering slowly, and that is unforgivable!

The staff and vets are excellent. They have went above and beyond to help save our dogs life.

They are all very nice here. They give perfect care to my pets and i am grateful for that. They seem to have genuine care for your pets as well.

They are really great with my dog and are great with all of their patients as well. I wish I lived a little closer because I won't take him anywhere else!

Dr. Dale is a blessing for our animals. He has saved our dogs life when we found our dog acting strange and performed an emergency procedure on her due to a twisted stomach. He is staff is so friendly and courteous. It is obvious that they love animals too and always are so friendly with my dog Maddy.
