Sears Appliance Repair

I have had a Sears service contract on my GE Profile refrigerator since I bought it from Sears 13 years ago. While the refrigerator has been a lemon, Sears Service has been excellent. It is very easy to make an appointment, they call ahead to let you know when they are coming, they show up on time and generally fix the problem on first visit. If they need to order a part, the follow up appointment is always very prompt.

Sears contracts with some local appliance repair services to perform some of their work and everyone of these local repair shops have been capable, dependable and very friendly.

Based on my experience with Sears Service I highly recommend them.

Took 2 months to get repair completed - while my fridge kept freezing my food. Got so bad I couldn't keep much on hand because the food kept getting ruined. The appointments would get cancelled because the tech called out sick twice with no replacements, then he showed up without a call letting me know he was coming - so he just left. Parts were ordered but one arrive broken. I pay for a service was terrible - not sure if I am going to bother to renew.

Really good and fast service. Highly Recommend it! The person was there on time and was able to detect the actual issue and later fix it when the part arrived.

Got an 8am appointment for Saturday at 3:30pm Friday. Repair tech arrived at 7:59am, by 8:30 my dryer had its belt fixed and he was off. Couldn't ask for anything more.

the cleanup was not satisfactory, the bowl of water that the tech borrowed was left in the microwave, the metal rack was not put back in and the electrical cord was not screwed back into the wall
