Beware Raben Tire. My family and I had used them for years, but would not even use them for an oil change now. I highly suspect they do not actually do the work they claim to do or the work they charge you for. While the guys at the front desk are nice enough, the "mechanic" I have seen several times is simply cocky and inept. I would suggest for anything more than having a tire patched or a simple oil change, you should definitely go to a real mechanic.
I purchased 4 new tires and rear brakes. One of the employees took my vehicle for a test drive. I then drove home and the next morning, noticed $800 worth of damage on my rear bumper. It appeared someone had backed the vehicle into something. When I returned to Raben to file a complaint, the service manager, Jared, told me there was nothing they could do. He told me the individual who worked on my vehicle had been there 20 years and he was a "stand up guy" blah blah blah. Bullshit. My vehicle was damaged during the time they had it. I would discourage anyone from using this business.

HORRIBLE customer service! We were ONLY 4 days late, yes, only 4 days, and called to let them know we were making a double payment on Friday. Donna in payments in the Marion office was so rude to me! She snapped at me, treated me like I was a piece of crap and made me feel horrible and worthless! You do not treat your customers that way! We just purchased our car and I am seriously debating returning it because I do not want to be talked to like a child and disrespected by this hateful lady every time I call to make a payment!!! Auto Credit should fire this evil woman and hire someone who truly knows what customer service means!!! I've filed a report with the BBB.

This is the most horrible hair salon!! I went to this salon and wanted to dye my hair into honey brown. But my top of my hair turned out super red and the end of my hair turned out black. Next day I went into the hair salon and tried to talk to the manager whose name is Bethany,she was not there. The third day, she was there and she said I signed the waiver which says whatever goes wrong is not their responsibility, she said she could not do nothing about that except only if I pay them again , they would dye it again for me. But I did not want to pay them again to do another job because they messed my hair up already. I was keeping trying to make my point to her, but she just did want to listen to me, and she said she would call a security if I keep argueing. I was so helpless and just left.I am a Chinese and My English is just Ok, so she did not care about A minority person at all . I do not recommend this place to ANYONE, they do not know how to take responsibility For their mistakes. they just some bullies who takes advantage of nice persons.
I purchased a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 116S P275/65R12 on 11/26/2014 after reading numerous positive tire user reviews from several sites. I made the purchase from Raben Tires in Marion, Illinois, which is 30 miles from my home. On the way home I found the tires out of balance and immediately called the store and spoke with Jared. I was told to bring the truck back and they would fix the problem. I returned on 11/28/2014 to have them re-balanced and was told by Jared that this type of tire will not balance 100% of the time. After driving back home I found them still out of balance and I sent an e-mail to Goodyear customer support. I received an e-mail back letting me know that the tires I purchased from Raben should be able to be balanced 100% , and to please have Raben call in to Goodyear with my case number to get the issue resolved. At that point I called back to Raben and spoke with Jared, and was told they would road force balance the tires and get this fixed. My wife had to take my truck back to Raben, making this the third trip back with the same balancing issue.. After looking over my 2010 Ford F-150 4x4 super crew, Jared called me and I was told he decided to have the front end checked out and found a bad ball joint. He stated that this was the reason I had a balancing problem. He also, did not road force balance the tires, as promised. Bad ball joints do not cause the same symptom as out of balance tires. The next day I took my truck to a local shop, where I know the owner, and had the tires road force balanced on a newer Hunter balancer. I watched, as all four tires were tested and found after road force balancing I had the following tires that were off by 44 lb, 27 lb, 26 lb, 11 lb, respectively.. I called Raben back again, and this time spoke with Lee, the manager, who acknowledged I had my truck in several times with a balancing problem, and did not show any concern prior to this call to him, although he was aware of the issue. I went over the results of the road force balancing and was told he would replace all four tires and would road force balance them this time. On 12/16/2014 Raben received the replacement tires and installed them. After all of this aggravation with this tire purchase, I have been out several trips, and $40.00 to get a set of tires that should have been road force balanced by Raben Tire on the second trip, This is a set of $1200 tires that should be able to be 100% balanced. I also told Jared, and Lee I could have gone to Sam’s Club and saved $25.00 per tire, although I came to Raben because thought I would receive better service, as I have purchased two sets of tires there previously. At no point did they offer to match the price or offer any compensation for my having to pay another tire shop to road force balance the tires. After receiving the new tires, I now have a faulty tire sensor, assuming that they damaged it during the second tire installation, as there were no issues with the sensor prior to this installation. I would NOT recommend Raben tires for any vehicle work! Their lack of helpful customer service is non-existent!
These people love to act like they are helping out someone in a bad situation... They promise you the moon and back and then once you sign the paper-- on a car that is over priced for what it is worth... their attitudes change.. If you have a problem and need some more time-- forget it.. We were behind 2 payments $360 and I paid them $350 and they would not turn the car on (they have a device that shuts off the car when pymt isn't made and it has GPS) for the $10 to get to work.. When you call them and have a problem and you make an arrangement with them.. then call back and say you don't have what you promised.. Their 'case manager- Melissa' Tells you that you are not man enough to keep your word!!.... These people treat you like dog crap.. Take advantage of you when you are down... If I could turn around and sell the car to get rid of them- I would in a heart beat.. But, I can't cause they over charge for what the car is really worth.. They don't care to help you clean up your credit... People come into hard times and they make it harder.. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM AUTO CREDIT OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS... you are better off riding a bike, walking, taking public transportation... Oh, and called for my pay off and they still charge you all the interest- even if you pay it off in advance!!!
