The Little Bar Restaurant of Marine City

My boyfriend and I arrived at about 7:00 on a Friday evening. Upon arriving, we were asked if there would be two dining. We indicated that we were just going to have a few drinks at the bar and we took a seat. A few minutes went by with the bartenders/servers running through the bar making drinks for their tables. The manager was also making drinks for tables. My boyfriend and I proceeded to sit at the bar with our IDs out for about 4 or 5 minutes until another table walked in the door. The table was told it would be a few minutes before a table would open up and were asked to wait at the bar. My boyfriend and I were sure we would get service any minute. Little did we know that this table would get seated and have their drinks arrive before anyone made an effort to acknowledge us. After this happened we were irritated but I assured my boyfriend we should wait a few more minutes. However, yet another table walked in and was seated. We waited for about 10 minutes and has been completed ignored while tables after us walked in and were served immediately.





As a server, I understand that Friday nights get hectic. However, a simple, "I'll be with you in a minute" would have gone a long way. Out of the all the servers/bartenders, someone should have noticed how long we had waited without service. Even when we stood at the bar and put out coat on, obviously without having had any drinks, the entire staff continued to ignore us. The message that we were not wanted was clear and though it is probably needless to say, we will not be returning to The Little Bar again.

My husband and I each had prime rib dinners. Honestly, it was the best prime rib that I have ever had! So tender that you could almost cut it with a fork! I highly recomend it!

Best Chicken Alfredo Ive ever eaten, Chicken was cooked perfect along with the fish and chips which were fresh and tasted like they were caught in my back yard. A tiny bit of under seasoning was in act with the sauce but nothing a little bit of salt and pepper couldn't fix. Absolutlly amazing owner very nice and straight forward. She knows how to run a business and I will now be a regular at the casual little place.

Steak bites were great! Best tasting steak I have ever had. The atmosphere is very elegant and charming, and everything is super clean. The name is deceiving, because The Little Bar is not like a bar at all, it's dining and cocktails at it's finest. I want all of my friends and family to experience dining here!

You won't be disappointed with the food or the friendly owners and staff. Great atmosphere. Many choices to make on a brand new menu with very reasonable prices. This restaurant goes out of their way to make the customers happy.
