I purchased my scooter from Chicken Little back in April 2014. I've had my scooter in for repairs several times and a couple times for the same issue. My interaction with the owner Michael Riggs has always been cordial until today. Chicken Little had my scooter for close to a month and after being told it was repaired and riding away on it, only to have the issue reoccur was very concerning. Upon taking my scooter back and asking that it be looked at because it was my only means of transportation at the time, I was treated like a criminal, literally. I calmly explained the situation to Michael Riggs and his response was, 'I don't have time I have other scooters ahead of you, I'm going on vacation, I want you to leave before I get mad and call the police.' This is literally less than 10 seconds into the conversation. I wasn't asking him to stay, there was still a mechanic in the shop that could have taken a few minutes to look at it. I am a minority and I don't think a caucasian would had the same experience I had. The police was called on me and Chicken Little Scooters wanted them to issue me a criminal trespass notice. Again this was done because I wanted to voice my concerns over his business practices. Not once did I say or do anything threatening to Michael Riggs or any of his employees. I will be posting YouTube videos soon of the incident.
