After my car was totaled in an accident in late November, I spent about a month looking at vehicles through CarMax, AutoTrader, Craigslist, etc. Trying to stay within the insurance proceeds on the price and getting a comparable replacement for my Acura was extremely challenging. Add to that the number of people out there who do not respond to emails, or call you back and it became quite frustrating. I stumbled on SML Auto Sales through an ad on Craigslist for a car that roughly fit my parameters. Johnny Lee, the proprietor, met us at his office where my son and I test drove the car – a beautifully maintained 2007 Infiniti G35x. Johnny was professional, engaging and informative, and best of all, no pressure! I told him that while I liked the car, it had a few more miles on it than we wanted, and he totally understood. He walked us through the process of how he purchased, inspected and serviced his cars and offered to help us find exactly what we were looking for. When I asked him when we could get started (this was a late Saturday afternoon), he said he needed just a few minutes. He drove home to grab his laptop and about 15 minutes later we were sitting in his office looking at used inventory available to dealers all over the US. Johnny spent more than an hour with us explaining the process and showing us the inventory online. He provided total transparency to the process, which is pretty much unheard of in this industry. It is clear that Johnny is very passionate about what he does – and very meticulous. We talked more about the car that we test drove and Johnny told us about what he did during the evaluation process of the vehicle and what maintenance had been performed – the same process he uses with all of his cars. We left about two hours after initially meeting Johnny and told him we’d check back with him in a few days to see what new cars were available. On the way home, my son and I discussed the car we drove and how Johnny made us feel comfortable about the process. We talked about how reasonable the price was compared to what we had seen elsewhere, and how the mileage was still less than what was on my Acura when it was totaled. Long story, short, I ended up buying the Infiniti two days later. It’s an amazing car by the way. Overall, the process was simple and painless and I would not hesitate to buy from Johnny and SML again. I actually look forward to purchasing my wife’s next car (probably this year) and being able to work the process with Johnny when we actually have time to go through the inventory over a longer period. This experience definitely changed the way I look at the car buying process.
"I became acquainted with "SML Auto Sales", via my search for a well maintained pre-owned vehicle. Via the Internet, I came across a number of private and dealer ad sales. A short time ago, sellers of items employed effort and possessed a sense of pride, when electing to sell their possessions. Currently, this way of life has sadly disappeared, thus leaving us with an environment where people just do not care about what they sell, how they sell, what condition their possessions are in and a price which is fair to all parties. Two days prior towards becoming acquainted with "SML Auto Sales", I took off of work and spent the time visiting selected sellers. During that time, there were two appointments which were confirmed; however, the sellers never showed up thus seriously wasting my time and gas money. Then there were the situations where the intended vehicles failed to appear as in the picture which it was advertised; not to mentioned the lack of cleanliness which a large number of vehicles possessed. I continued my search and was blessed by contacting "SML" for a vehicle, which unfortunately was sold; however, a conversation ensued and an inquiry was conducted regarding other vehicles which could be purchased. Via this discussion a vehicle was identified and an appointment time to examine the vehicle was scheduled. Unlike the other sellers, the owner of "SML" was highly professional and kept his appointment. We met at an agreed location and agreed to allow the vehicle to be examined by a nearby mechanic of my choice. The vehicle flawlessly passed inspection, so much so that the mechanic wanted to purchase the vehicle if I had not chosen not to. The purchase was a cash transaction which took about twenty minutes to complete. When I brought the vehicle home, my family members and friends were extremely elated and pleased regarding my purchase. Without hesitation, I'm totally pleased with my purchase and relationship with "SML Auto Sales"; as well as that I would and will highly recommend them to my friends and family. Look no further. SML Auto is the one. For over a month, I was looking for a vehicle for my college bound son. It was a stressful, time consuming and daunting task….until we met Johnny from SML Auto. His professional and meticulous demeanor made our car buying easy and stress free. He’s very knowledgeable about the vehicles in his inventory. After our test drive with Johnny, we told him we had another car we planned to see at the Audi dealership and would get back with him on our final decision. That afternoon, while at Audi, we drove an Acura TL and noticed the air conditioner was not blowing cold air. We mentioned it to the sales rep and he asked the service team to add Freon. As my son and I waited in the lobby to see if adding Freon would “fix” the problem, we decided to call Johnny and get his feedback, even though we just met him. Johnny felt it may be the compressor. The service manager came out and confirmed that indeed, it was the compressor and it would cost about $1,000 to fix. Johnny saved us from making a bad decision and this spoke volumes about Johnny’s character. He gave us honest and objective feedback and, on the spot we decided to give Johnny our business. For me, it’s all about peace of mind, investing in a vehicle that will be safe and reliable for years to come. Johnny did a complete car inspection prior to the purchase and the car was extremely clean. The best part of the transaction was the fantastic deal we got on a 2008 Infiniti G35. I have another child that will need a vehicle soon, and without any doubt in my mind, we will be working with Johnny again. I recommend Johnny and SML Auto without any reservations. WHY IS CAR BUYING SO HARD!!! Those were the words my wife and I said to each other after nearly 2 months of looking. Craigslist, AutoTrader, CarGuru, Cars.com… you name it we tried all the tools available to us with no luck. I’ll admit we made it hard on ourselves. My wife was very specific that it be a Silver Camry SE, light ash cloth interior, sunroof, spoiler, no push button start, low miles, and then compound that with the fact we’re both very particular about the condition of our cars… oh, did I mention it had to be a 2011 model? I had come across SML Auto Sales on AutoTrader and checked out his web site and was intrigued with his Customer Buy Program. I called Johnny and spoke to him about what we were looking for. He was confident that he could find the exact car my wife wanted and invited us to his office to see a live auction and explain the whole process in detail. We scheduled an appointment, saw the whole process and set the task for him to find my wife her car. Throughout the search Johnny kept in touch via text messages, phone calls, and email. Then one evening he called and told me a car that met all our specifics was to be auctioned the next morning. He emailed all the pertinent info with pictures for us to verify and sure enough it was the car we wanted and still under manufacturer’s warranty! Unfortunately we weren’t able to be there for the auction but Johnny videoed it and sent it to us. I honestly don’t know who was more excited, Johnny or us? We’ve had the car a couple of weeks now and are very pleased. Dealing with Johnny was a pleasure. He’s up front about everything and genuinely concerned that you drive away completely satisfied. I’ll be the first to admit that it’s easy to write a negative review and that most people don’t take the time to write a positive one, so I thought I would write a few words about my visit to Ed Voyles Chrysler in Marietta. Particularly the Body Shop. I brought a Chrysler Town & Country in for an oil change but stopped off at the Body Shop first because I damaged trim on the rear. Gerami Henson, the manager, quoted me a repair price. Like all body shops the price depends on parts and the labor necessary to repair and install the parts. I felt that the repair labor was high but Gerami said if the labor was less he would make an adjustment. Yeah, sure! Who ever heard of a dealer charging you less than the price quoted. It’s always more. Paying less was never going to happen. A part had to be ordered and when I received a call from Melai Trout that the part had arrived, an appointment was set for the following Wednesday at 3:30 PM. I arrived a little early at 3:15 and at 3:29 the car was pulled into the shop and repaired. And exactly what Gerami promised, happened. The labor was less so Melai charged me less. Thank you Gerami and Melai. What an honorable way to conduct business. I have an appointment with the service department tomorrow morning for a mechanic to look at a broken seat part that should be covered under the manufacture’s warrantee. I will keep you posted as to what transpires.
We just bought our 4th car from these people at Marietta Auto Mall Center. Consistently straight forward and easy dealing and letting us make our minds of what car we would like to purchase is always have been their norm. My wife and I have recommended many people to this wonderful dealership. One thing that most impressed me this time around was that they strongly recommended us to have any vehicle fully inspected independendly by our mechanic or a dealer. My wife and I have purchased 3 vehicles previously, for ourselves and our children, over the past year and a half from Marietta Auto Mall Center and what a Surprisingly Pleasant experience we have had with this dealership. Just like most people, we have had our doubts and concerns about purchasing a car from from a used car dealer. But dealing with the owner and the sales people at this dealership was the simplest car buying experience that has happened to us. No pressure. No Sales pitches. No BS. And No Hassle about having the car checked out by our mechanic. The prices were just right and within our budget. In fact, all the staff stongly encouraged us to do so, for our own peace of mind. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Amigo Auto Sales - both times I ran into some financial trouble and called the general manager to either move my payment or lower the bill for a few months, and each time they worked with me. If you're a liar, they will find out and will not work with you because liars don't deserve a break. If you are a truth teller, they will work with you because you deserve a break for being honest. Idiots don't pay their bills write bad reviews because they think they're owed something - that's called Entitlement and it is extremely immature and tacky. Grow up and pay your bills and your car won't get repossessed. Both of my cars were reasonable - had normal wear and tear repairs on both of them but my first car I bought there i had for 5 years and loved it. I just bought a Honda and I love it too. This business is completely legit and LEGAL. There are NO illegal immigrants on their payroll and they are doing everything by Georgia law. They offer competitive employment and prices on their vehicles during difficult times. This is a reputable business and I highly recommend them for the purchase of used vehicles.
I visited Nalley Lexus last week and had the pleasure of working with Dwayne Lee in the service department. He exceeded my expectations in every way. He was not only professional and very reassuring but he also let me know that I was a priority. I was somewhat panicked when my car arrived via tow truck because a significant amount of oil was leaking from the vehicle. He assured me not to worry they would get to the bottom of the issue and let me know by lunch time what was causing the issue. He provided a loaner vehicle and said "not to worry, the car is in good hands." I went to work and the my phone started ringing just before 11 am. I hesitated to answer as I braced myself for the news. Dwayne was on the other end of the phone, I'm sure we exchanged greetings but the first words I remember were "your car is ready, you can pick it up whenever you are available." He stated the issue was pretty minor and they took care of it so the car was ready to go. The relief was overwhelming but Dwayne really made me feel like a valued customer. Great job Nalley for selecting Service Department Staff like Dwayne Lee.
About three week ago, I had the privilege of purchasing a 2007 Infiniti G35 w/ journey package from SML auto. This car was exactly as their ad described it...............immaculate! I purchased at the asking price because I had already done the pricing research online and at local dealers. It ran flawlessly. The 2007 G35 the shares the same body style as the G37, so my friends thought it to be newer due to its condition. The test drive and sales process took about 25 minutes. I was there, though, for about 90 minutes, just talking! I felt I was conversing with an old friend whom I was just meeting. I found Johnny to be genuinely nice, knowledgeable and professional in as sincere a way possible. His sincerity extended weeks beyond the sale. Since then, he has checked on my ride home (I came from Macon, Ga for this great deal), he overnighted my title to my county's tag office, and recently checked to see if I had any registration issues. He had already made sure I would not. I would recommend this car broker to anyone, This is the kind of business you want to see prosper!
