ManorCare Rehab Center-Marietta

We had a wonderful experience with Manor Care of Marietta over the past two weeks. My Mother had a TIA or mini stroke and went here to get some PT & OT so she could build her strength to go back home.

Everyone from the front desk (Carrie) to the Therapists & Nursing staff were very friendly, competent & really easy to work with. Mom's day Nurse (Kristine) was so comforting & loving with my Mom, and Lessie Simmons- Foster who helped with coordinating, planning & discharging was very efficient, nice and made our experience at this Facility a really good one. The Activity Director was really sweet and she had some fun activities for the residents from a Valentine party, to an Ice Cream social, etc. Everyone tried to make my Mom feel welcome & well cared for, and they had much success!

Mom is much stronger now and was ready to go home sooner than we had anticipated. We highly recommend this facility!

My dad is in the middle of his 2nd stay at this facility, AND WE COULDNT BE HAPPIER WITH THE QUALITY!! We were there in September 2016 for the entire month as my dad has a chronic indwelling catheter and got a really bad UTI which zapped his strength. After 4 days in St Josephs hospital we were transferred to another facility which was a death trap. Fortunately, a friend had a dad who was in MANOR CARE MARIETTA for a fused back and had recovered BEAUTIFULLY. We transferred to Manor Care the next day and it was a seamless transition from the quality of care we were getting at St Josephs. After a month dad was stronger than ever. We are here again for the exact same thing and the facility and staff are just beyond wonderful! I'm a 24/7 caregiver for dad and when I leave at night, I know dad i s in the best quality hands in the business! I cant thank them enough for the quality of care we receive at this facility and I will always be eternally grateful. Quality rehab, quality activities and quality people!!

I went to ManorCare Rehab Center following my knee replacement surgery ( both knees -1 year a part so two rehab stays). I was very satisfied and comforted by the service I received and the professionalism and skill of the staff. I had great results with both of my surgeries and was able to get back to life quickly after. I regained my strength and flexibility and remain a very active 86 year old. Being able to pre-register my stay helped me be more organized and confident with my recovery. I strongly recommend pre-registering so that you know where you are going and what to expect.

I was pleased with them until my mom had to go to hospital. They didn't offer a Bed Hold for my mom. That's required by law for patients. So they broke protocol. Also my has pain and she had to wait two hours. Then nurses that took good care of her were Jackie and CC. The tech was na na. Just felt like my mom was kicked out and that's exactly what happened.
