Just Fitness 4 U

What a nightmare.

There is an employee named "Tiny" at this gym who has continually harassed me and others around the gym on a recurring basis. Our most recent run in began when I was told (not asked) to keep quiet.. IN A GYM. Apparently the weights touching the floor (WHILE DEADLIFTING) was disturbing his workout. Anyone who lifts know this can be a loud exercise. I a terminating my membership because I was THREATENED by this employee. The manager, Phillip Edwards, did not even both to hear both sides before cancelling my membership - did not even care to hear why I wanted to cancel it, did not even take a moment to hear about how blatantly offensive his employees act around paying customers. My workout partner cancelled as well.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Worst employees ever. Worst management. Terrible stench of sweat and no proper ventilation. Something is always broken or under construction. The staff is rude and all they want is your money. In order to have your account cancelled, they request ridiculous amount of work. There is this old blonde woman that works there and she is straight up snotty. She rolls your eyes at you whenever you say something that she doesn't agree with. There's this younger latina girl that works there as well. She gives you a stank attitude whenever you speak to her. The male employees at this particular location are very respectful towards all (my friends and i) of us. We will never ever return to Just Fitness on roswell rd in Marietta. Worst gym experience ever. Don't get a membership unless you want to be robbed by all their secret hidden fees. As you've read in the other reviews, they just want to take all your money. They barely spend any money on their equipment. Go to LA Fitness, it's so much better.

DON"T GO TO JUST FITNESS

Don't use this gym! It is so dull and boring. Yawn, Yawn. The staff are full of empty promises. The make it impossible to cancel your membership if you move out of the area. If you have kids, their kids room sucks. It is pitiful and pathetic. It is absolutely a joke that management can't do better than that and expects you to pay extra for it. Do yourself a favor and invest the extra $10 a month and go to LA Fitness. They have top of the line equipment, hundreds of locations you can use under your versatile membership, swimming facilities, basketball, etc., a REAL kids club, and best of all, you can CANCEL at YOUR convenience.

My husband and I became Just Fitness members over 4 years ago and have been very pleased with the equipment, cleanliness, upgrades (new sauna), new hours (open 24 hours) and new aerobic classes (Over 9 different classes). We're so impressed by the facility that we recently enrolled our daughter. She was given a courtesy trainer session to help her properly use the equipment and loves the Zumba classes with her friends. The Sales Manager, Eric Sherrod went out of his way to make certain that our family was well taken care of and pleased with the membership. The Manager, Phillip Edwards also took time to answer our many questions and ensured that we were satisfied with the overall service. This is not a high pressure gym and the membership price is very reasonable for the membership you're receiving. There are lots of treadmills and ellipticals available in the gym area. They also have a large TV room with many more stationary machines. They're even adding a childcare area in the Fall of 2013. I highly recommend Just Fitness 4U if you’re looking for a great place to “Just” work out at a reasonable price.
