Allstate Insurance: Steven Lewis

I insured my house, car, boat, and waverunner with this company. My individual agent was very good and attentive to my needs. However, when it came time to make a claim and I needed the help of Steven Lewis, he was no where to be found and never even gave me a phone call. Basically, they were trying to give me trade in value of my waverunner intead of the market value. lol, clearly i can not purchase another one for trade in value. Trade in value was designed for dealers to take in an item (car, boat, waverunner, truck...you get the idea) and in lieu of cash. Consequently, they then turn around and sell the Item for Market value. Bottom Line is I Paid to get my waverunner fixed on my own. I am still waiting on a check from the insurance company. All in all, they ripped me of for the cost to store the vessel at the facility it was stored at, the cover that was on it, the trailer.. about $2500 out of my pocket. I am currently taking them to small claims court and contacting the insurance commissioner. I contacted state farm and they are saving me a lot of money!!- Byron
