THANKFULLY.... my problems with company started before I signed a contract with them. So glad I did not jump into bed with this crappy company. I found a house on their website that I was interested in. I go thru the online process of "Let Yourself In" so I could go by and view the property. Evidentally they charge $0.99 for this service option thru Rently. I'm not paying to view a house that I may or may not rent. So I decide to call them on the phone to see if there was another option. The rude man on the phone tells me there is no way to view house without paying the $0.99 fee. I then ask if they have an agent that I can meet to view. So he says yes, and proceeds to ask me my personal information. First, it started as the usual contact info. Name, telephone, email, etc. Then he starts asking me personal financial questions. I tell him that I don't want to divulge my personal finances before I know if I even like the house. I haven't even seen the house yet and they want personal financial information? No, I don't think so. So when I told him I didn't want to disclose this info just for an initial inquiry, he got a worse attitude and proceeds to tell me "well, then I can't go any further in this, have an great day" and proceeds to hang up on me. REALLY? This crappy company will NOT get my business or my money. Steer clear!
The worse customer service I have ever experienced. Fare warning to any wedding party! My daughters wedding was on 10 3 2015 at 5 PM.We did not receive our tent until 10 3 2015 at 11:00 am and was completely set up by 2pm!!!!!!! 130 guest to feed. we had 3 hours to decorate for that many and stage everything, bring in food etc. They were suppose to bring it a day before the wedding at 8-10am in the morning! never could get anyone to respond about no show on Saturday morning. I had to go to the facility to try and track someone down. The manger was rude and showed no empathy that I had miss on the wedding pictures with my daughter and I was her Matron of Honor!!!! I will never be able to replace those times,,,, She said she threw in walls to the tent as a courtesy. That's a joke, I demanded the driver go get them and I was not about to pay for anything else! It seems they want all money up front and could care less about the customers after that! the owner or manger never called me back! They will make you into a Bridezilla. Wedding parties fare warning, do not trust them to handle the most important day of your life!!!!!!
I rented an inflatable bounce house from a1 party rentals for my sons birthday party. The rental was set up that I picked it up Friday and returned it Monday. When we set up the bounce house Friday afternoon, we were never able to get it to fully inflate. I called multiple times and left at least 5 messages between Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon when my party started and NEVER got a response. I called again Monday and asked to speak to management. I told her what happened and was told to bring the bounce house back first and they would determine if it worked before doing anything. I told her they could should come pick it up as customer service and she they would charge me DOUBLE what I had previously been quoted for pick up of the machine. I told her I would not pay and wanted a refund and she hung up on me. Now I am reviewing this company to warn anyone who expects their rental to have some kind of customer service to not use this company.
they're negligent when it comes to regularly maintaining their property. On Feb 12, 2015 around 2am I was doing clothes & the dryer caught on fire. (In that same week there had been 2 fires in other units & right after the fire department cleared my apartment, they responded to another fire in the complex the SAME NIGHT!!) The next day I was told that my apartment was livable.. It had a STRONG odor of smoke & the carpet was SOAKING wet from the sprinkler, the apartment was in a disarray, the lights were blown out & the property manager/staff just did not care.. I was very depressed about the apartment & the fact that I was told it was livable... Would they have lived in there? Not to mention I have 4 children I had a 12month old & a 3 month old at the time who is still on oxygen... Did they care? Did they try to make their tenant comfortable due to their negligence? No. First question the property manager GREG asked me was the dryer mine? EVERY UNIT COMES WITH A WASHER/DRYER... That's all we talked about when I first moved in here. Now he asks me if it was my dryer?? Really?? & please keep in mind, I was very humble & calm throughout this whole thing. I had every right to go crazy because my children & I could have died but I didn't. I remained respectful. They said the apt was livable with a soaking wet carpet & 6 extremely loud blowers (to dry the carpet). It was so loud, I couldn't hear myself think. 1 blower used 2 outlets.. So of course, having six of them I was concerned with the electric bill.. I called & asked about it & they said they would look into it & if it was different from what it usually is, then they would handle it(You pay your utilities through them, you can not have a separate bill). I was ok with that. I come to the apt one night to see how things look & what's going on.. My kitchen light was on & my room light was on... (MY ROOM WAS NOT EFFECTED BY THE FIRE) so why were they in my room??? & how long have my lights been on??? I didn't go to the apartment in 2 days! (I had to pay the electric bill..) It was $222.42. My electric bill has NEVER been over $180 & remember Feb is a short month & I wasn't in the apt half of the month. Smh that's really sad. Then the maintenance ppl dirtied up the carpet, looked like they stepped in mud & walked in... ( the fire department didn't do it because they allowed me back in the apt after they put out the fire to grab some things) I called about getting a new Carpet because my son was crawling on the floor at that time & they told me that I couldn't get a new carpet because I did that to the carpet. Whaaaat??! (I truly didn't damage the carpet smh) They put a "new dryer" in here that smelt like smoke!!! It was spray painted white... (It wasn't the same dryer but it smelt like smoke & it had never been turned on..hmmmm) it was the same dryer!!!!! Smh. I'm not saying you will have a fire or another serious problem, but what if you do???? You don't want to be treated the way I was. Seriously, save yourself the heartache, headache & stress. Don't move here. Stay away!
I also need a place to stay & Sec. 8 has been closed since 2008, which is ridiculous!!! I'm on Disability, in the $700's, I NEED HELP for a decent placeto stay. I will be calling you Monday.
