The people that are a part of Galaxy Appliance, from the receptionist that answered our call and made the appointment to the technician, went far beyond normal courtesy and helpfulness. The service I received was very professional from the time the tech. entered my home until he left. I would call Galaxy Appliance again should I ever need service
***HORRIBLE SERVICE*** I called the place base on the reviews, when the tech came to fix my washer he told me that i need it the "actuator" and quote me that the part was $125 paying a total of $225 (tech was in and out in 10min). I called back whirlpool and quote me $50 for the part and called Energy Appliance and they told me that their price was base on the manufacturer asked why i was charge $75 extra. The person apologize and that will talk with the owner and will get a call back, after the called back they said that I would have pay over $300 if I had called Sears.
I myself have done business with this Abbey Appliances Co.several times in past 20 years. They stand behind what they sell always.When they are open they are very friendly and will answer any questions you might have. Sorry these other 3 people above had a bad experience as I bet if you polled the majority of people that have shopped here you would get wonderful feedback.I can also say I know atleast 4 people besides me that have bought from them with zero problems.This is a mom and pop shop they does a LOT of business. I pass them almost daily and they are always busy. That says a lot in itself. You will not find better appliances unless you buy them Brand New at a store that sells brand new stuff.Remember folks everything they sell here is used from slightly to majorly used. You get what you pay for. I paid $300.00 for a "set" washer & Dryer and have used it with no problems the entire 4 years I have owned them, they are still going strong.The guy told me he had stuff cheaper but If I wanted it to last a long time then spend at least 150.00 a unit. I did and I do not regret it at all.I will continue to do business with Abbey Appliance for as long as they are in business.Thanks Abbey Appliance for all the great years of serving the people of Marietta.
I drove to their facility at 6:15 on a Saturday, as their website says they are open Monday through Saturday 10-7. I was told by a very unfriendly gentleman that the website was incorrect and my family and i needed TO GET OFF THEIR PROPERTY. Great customer service! When I called the owner to complain, he said he didn't have time for my problems and hung up on me. Needless to say, I won't be going back.
