My overall experience with the Mahone Group was great, excellent customer service! The staff is very professional and outgoing they go over and beyond to make sure they are assisting the best they can with helping people seek employment. I will definitely refer individuals to Mahone Group that is seeking employment and meets the criteria.
Great people, especially Rob. He was very helpful and we'll updated in my field. He walk me through the process and really went above & beyond for me.
I am so glad that I found this company they are very helpful and informative, Mahone Group is a great staffing agency!
Great people very friendly. They really make you feel comfortable. I would recommend them to everyone. Great experience. They truly work on your behalf. Thanks so much!
As a former employee of Mahone I want to say thank you to Rob and Susan. I wouldn’t be where I’m at today if it wasn’t for them, they taught me so much! I grew professionally and it helped me get a great job when I moved back to Florida. Mahone was so good to me. They care about their employees, clients and candidates. They always go above and beyond to help everyone. I saw them pay for employee certifications, parking and gas money, whatever needed. They are very understanding with personal emergencies and support you all the way. They helped me get a mortgage when it wasn’t going to be easy. They are awesome people. Just a few words to show my appreciation!
The Mahone Group is the most toxic work environment I have ever been a part of. This husband and wife duo doesn't know how to take care of their employees whatsoever and they handle their business very poorly. It doesn't matter if you think (or know) you've done everything right, they will always make sure to let you know how horrible of a job you have been doing. They talk about their employees behind their back practically every day. They have had a turn over of 6+ employees (of their own - not candidates) in the past 7 months alone. You are only safe for a few months before they look to replace you. They don't like keeping the same people around for long and they NEVER like the same employee. If one of them loves you, you better bet that the other one hates you. Steer clear of this place if you know what's good for you!
The Mahone Group in Marietta is the most oppressive and depressive places I have worked in all of my years of working. When you interview with them, they seem so warm and inviting, but it is a hoax. The employers are a husband and wife team who get some type of sick enjoyment out of belittling their employees and threatening their jobs nearly everyday. They take turns verbally abusing employees and sometimes they will do it collectively. If you make it through a day without being yelled at it's a good day, but trust me those days are few and far in between. While working there, you will be expected to be early, stay late, skip lunch, not miss days or take vacations and not talk to or be friendly with other employees. They will also try to cheat you out of the benefits they promise when you are hired. Don't expect any commissions or bonuses either. If you are interviewing for one of their client's, they may be fake nice to you if they think you can bring them money. If they don't like you, they will be rude, judgmental and dismissive.Rob and Susan are poor excuses for business owners and it's a wonder that they have been in business so long without being sued multiple times because it's such a hostile work environment. They are condescending, insensitive and pure evil. If you decide to work at this company, you may last a few weeks.
If you are a recruiter, run from this company. You will never receive commissions or bonuses. You will be released before you receive anything. Extremely hostile work atmosphere. No training given. Micro-managing husband and wife team who snipe and slander each other's in-house hires. You will not be allowed to meet or speak with client hiring managers, ever. Control of All candidates brought in will be taken over by management and this will be the excuse they use to keep you from your commissions and bonuses. There is no work life balance. You WILL be expected to happily work 11+ hour weekdays and on weekends. If you have a sick child that needs care, you will be punished for not being there to work. Do not listen to all of the sickeningly sweet promises they will offer you! Fair warning.
Thank you for this opportunity. I look forward to working with your client. This is exactly the type of opportunity I’ve been looking for. I’m confident it will go very well.
I recently received a job offer and will be starting on this Monday. After the very first call and phone interview I had with Susan Young, she seemed focused on "me" and took to finding me a job seriously. She was in constant contact with me and a client she thought I was a good candidate for. I never had to wonder what was happening because she kept me informed. I was able to get a phone interview and then a face to face interview with the client within days. After that she took to getting my references checked. On this, I also felt like she went above and beyond her job. She is the only recruiter that I have had that seemed to work as hard for someone she didn't know (me) as you would expect of a friend or family member. She took a situation that was upsetting (losing my job) and turned it into one of the best experiences I've ever had. I have met several staff members and they were all very pleasant, professional and helpful. It restores faith that there are still some great people out there. I cannot thank her and The Mahone Group enough. I am so happy that I applied here and you will be too!
