ACT Security

We needed a reliable alarm system after discovering several breakins in our local area. After we spoke to several existing satisfied customers of ACT Security, we asked them to install the Lynx Touch alarm system. The best thing we could have done. Our old dog is really no deterrent any more, so having a system that allows for a big dog is really important. More important was the response when we accidentally set off the alarm one day and the Police were here within a few minutes! Impressive. We really like the ability to control the alarm from our smart phone (I have an Android, and the App was free). We have control codes for all of our adult kids, and they find it easy to use too. We gave them a Keyfob to make it even easier. Now they can disarm the system before they trip over the dog laying by the front door!

Had my security systems installed by ACT, very professional installation, great skills and communication, the installer arrived at my house on schedule time and was very helpful, he even gave me his personal phone number to call in case of questions. Will recommend them any time.

After using ACT security for a 3 years as stated in my contract length I decided to cancel because of the multiple increases in rates and the much more inexpensive services out there. I called and spoke with a person by the name of Dale Berger and asked to cancel my contract. He gave me a number to fax it to. I faxed my cancellation notice and was billed again the following month. I spoke with him again and he said he never received it. So, I faxed another one,and was yet again billed the following month and compounded with a returned check fee because I had closed that checking acct he was drawing my money on. I had my wife call this time and found he had no authorization to cancel my account and that I had to go to ADT and not the person who was just getting kick backs from my account. First he denied he ever spoke with me and then he just said, "well I guess I'm just a basturd".. Yes Mr. Berger you are that and a crook!!!
