They sold me a brand new broken phone then forced me to add insurance on it.
Never, ever go inside this place. I saw the signs that said "New Ownership" and thought that I would go there to see if they could help with a no reception problem. Some young kid named Steven was absolutely the worst "salesperson" that I have ever met. He was rude, condescending, did not know what he was talking about, and even screwed my phone up. He called me a liar, laughed when I asked about terminating service without paying an early termination fee, and refused to show me my contract after he stated that they only guarantee phones to work where you bought them. The levels of incompetence are unbelievable - not a competent salesperson, not competent about the products, not even competent to deal with the public or represent Pearce Wireless or Verizon. I was in worse shape when I left than when I went in. He had changed all of the settings on the phone and didn't understand the basic concepts of cellular service. And to top it all, the problem was not with my phone, it is with Verizon's service in this area. After spending hours on the phone with customer service several times they have finally realized that there is a problem with their tower in Manitowoc. The tower has radio interference that prevents a strong signal in certain parts of town. They are supposed to be trying to recalibrate the signal to solve the problem. If you are unfortunate enough to be a Verizon customer, at least do not go to this store and try to get help - they are not capable.
