This year will be the first time in 5 years that I’ll be welcome at a family Christmas and it’s because I went to Great Lakes Rehabilitation. When I started using heroin it was for the dumbest reason. Some guy I’d had a crush on for years asked me if I wanted to try it and incredibly dumb me said yes. I didn’t think it’d affect me the way it did. I didn’t think I would instantly fall in love with it. I’ve heard some people say that heroin is their best friend and their worst enemy, or something similar and it’s true for me too. I loved heroin, I loved the way it made me feel, loved how nothing else seemed to matter when I was high and because of that I ruined 5 years of my life. I didn’t go to college, barely finished high school. I had a really hard time keeping a job for any length of time. I wasn’t homeless exactly, not in the way I always thought being homeless would be like. I wasn’t living on the streets in a cardboard box but I also didn’t have a permanent home. It was a lot of staying with different people till they got sick of me and just moving around like that. 6 months ago, I got tired of it all and asked my parents for help. They’d been on me about going to rehab ever since I started using and so they helped me and sent me to GLR. I hard a really hard time at first. The early parts of my program were a struggle for me and there were plenty of times when I wanted to quit, go home and get high again. The staff at GLR wouldn’t let me quit though. There are a few of them who have been through the same thing and they helped me stay until about 2 months into my program when I realized that I wasn’t struggling anymore. I finally got to the point where I was doing good and it was awesome. I was happier, I was more honest with myself and with others. I could have a rational conversation with my parents. My emotions were stable which was a big accomplishment for me. GLR is the only rehab I’ve been too but it’s an awesome place. I’m glad it the rehab my parents found for me. They have different programs there and I ended up doing the SMART program which worked great for me. It took 3 months to do the program and I came home a month ago. I’ve been doing good too. I’ve been staying with my parents who have been really supportive. Going to Great Lakes Rehab made a lot of things possible for me, the biggest and most important one right now is the fact that I can spend Christmas with my family again.
My best friend went to Best Drug Rehabilitation and it saved her life. Before going to BDR she had been using for 12 years and nothing seemed to work for her. At least nothing worked for very long. She’s tried so many different things to get clean too. When she first realized she needed help she started going to NA meetings. Those didn’t help her so she went to a couple detoxes, thinking that if she got everything out of her system she’d be able to stay that way. When those didn’t help she went to rehab. After that first rehab she stayed clean for 6 months. She started going back to school and it seemed like everything was back to normal. When she relapsed 6 months later it was devastating. That was 9 years ago and since then she’s gone to 12 more rehabs. It seemed like she tried everything. She even tried a Christian based program when she’s not religious in the slightest. She was willing to try just about anything though. When she first went to BDR I hadn’t spoken to her in 2 years. Because I couldn’t find her. She didn’t have a phone, no set address. The only time I talked to her was if she called me and it had been 2 years since I last got a phone call. Her parents and I stay in touch because she usually calls one or the other of us. So, if she called one of us to check in we always let the other know. So, I knew she was in treatment because her parents had told me they got her into BDR. It was a month before she called me from BDR though and I was amazed at how happy and upbeat she sounded. She was happy with the program she was doing, happy with the people there. I don’t know all that much about BDR. I didn’t visit her when she was there so everything I’ve heard about the center is what I’ve read on their website and what my friend told me. I do know she was there for 6 months. It’s not a 6 month program though. My friend went through her program at her own pace and that took her 6 months. She changed a lot in that time. She looked so happy when she first came home. Happy and amazing and healthy. She was smiling and laughing with her parents and it’s been 12 years since I’ve seen her like that. Since being home her life has only gotten better. When she first started using she was going to school to become a veterinarian. Which she’s wanted to be since she was 6. Her and I met when she was 8 and she’s never wavered from wanting to become a vet. She went back to school after her first rehab but since then she didn’t ever want to go back. She told me that she was going to go back to school and I asked her why she hadn’t since that first rehab. She told me that she never felt sure that she’s stay sober and didn’t want to waste anyone’s time or money. So, her deciding to go back again, it says a lot about her confidence level. I don’t know what they did at BDR or how they managed when no one else had. I do know that they got results. After 12 rehabs, 2 detoxes and countless NA meetings my friend finally has what she needs to stay sober.
All of the reviews below are obviously written by the same person and should not be treated as authentic. The tone, content and voice of each are too similar to ignore.
I attended BDR in 2013. They have a very unique and unusual treatment program and I got high and drunk the day I got out, but it wasn't the worst place. The facility is run down, and I wouldn't recommend anyone ever pay their own money to go there (I used insurance). I'm sure their success rate is very low (it's not as high as they will say), but that is true for EVERY drug rehab facility, especially those that have programs less than one year.
I'm not sure I would recommend it, but there are people working there who care, and for some, the Scientology-based program may be effective.
I was prompted to write after reading the fake reviews that have appeared every few months for the past year or so.
I went to Best Drug Rehab 2 years ago. Since then, the name has changed to Great Lakes Rehabilitation but everything about the facility is the same as when I was there. It doesn’t really matter what name they’re calling now, it’s still the best drug rehab facility out there. Before going to BDR I had been using pain pills for 12 years and had gone to 8 different rehab program and not one of them helped me even a fraction as much as BDR did. With all the other programs when I finished them I wasn’t ever able to stay clean for more than 3 months. Now, after going through the program at BDR, I’ve been clean for 2 years. There is such a huge difference in how I felt after finishing BDR compared to how I felt after the other programs I’ve been to. The biggest difference is that when I finished my program at BDR, I was ready to live my life without drugs and actually felt confident in my ability to use what I had learned at BDR to keep myself clean and sober. That was such a big deal for me. For the first time since I had started using and then started trying to get myself cleaned up, I felt confident that I wouldn’t use at the first opportunity. After finishing those other programs, I wasn’t really even living. Mostly, I was too scared to leave my house because I desperately wanted to use and it was a study in willpower of how long I could stay clean. With that, every time I left my house I knew there was a good chance I wouldn’t make it back to it sober and I hated it. It was completely different when I finished BDR though. I could go out to lunch with my mom or go to the beach with friends and know that when I got home, I’d still be sober. Part of the reason BDR helped me so much is that they don’t take the same approach with everyone. They understand that what might work for one person might not work for someone else and so they have different programs available. The staff at BDR worked really hard to make sure that the program I did was the one that would be the most beneficial to me. Another thing that is different about BDR is that the general attitude there is one of happiness. Everyone, the staff and clients both are genuinely happy to be there and it changes things. Going to a group where people are depressed and apathetic about being there, that attitude rubs off. On the other hand, going to a group where the clients are happy to be there and ready to work hard on their recovery, that rubs off as well and I made more progress in my recovery because of that. Being at BDR was about more than just getting me sober and working on my addiction. Literally every part of my life that has suffered because of my addiction was addressed and either dealt with or a plan was put into place to deal with it when I got home. Mostly, that was just the trust my family and friends had with me and my ability to stay sober this time. With that, the longer I stayed sober, the harder I worked to stay that way increased the trust they had in me. Now, 2 years later and when I call my mom, I know she’s not worried that the only reason I’m calling is because I want something. When we go to lunch, I know she’s not wondering the whole time if I’m lying about being sober and looking for indicators that I am. In the past, I always equated being sober with being miserable because that’s how it always was for me. I love, more than anything that I was wrong about that. My life is amazing and it’s because I went to Best Drug Rehab. Or as it’s now called Great Lakes Rehab.
I went through the program at Best Drug Rehab. BDR is the first and the only place that has helped me with my drug addiction. When I first started smoking pot as a teenager, I didn’t think I’d become an addict. A pretty common assumption and to tell the truth, if I had just stuck with pot and not gone on to stronger drugs I’d have been fine. I did end up trying stronger drugs though and eventually became addicted to pain pills. It actually took a while for me to become truly dependent on pills though. At first, I used only occasionally. That became more and more frequent though until I was completely dependent on pills and couldn’t function unless I was on something. When I first realized that I needed more help than I could give myself I thought just getting off the pills would do it. So, I went to a detox to get them out of my system. They put me on Suboxone and weaned me off that and when I went home I was clean. Didn’t help, the first thing I did when I got home was get high. After that I went to rehab and I hated it there. The place just felt depressing and everyone there seemed miserable. I wanted to leave and come home but my parents convinced me to finish my program. I did end up completing my program and the first thing I did when I got home was get high. The same thing happened at 3 more rehabs and I lost hope that any rehab would truly be able to help me. My parents found BDR and convinced me to try it. Actually, it’s called Great Lakes Rehab now but, when I went it was Best Drug Rehab. Either way, my parents showed me the website and when we talked about it we all agreed that it was my best chance at getting and staying sober. At BDR they understand that no 2 people are alike. That what works for someone isn’t necessarily going to work for someone else. So, they have multiple programs there. Being able to do a program that fit with me was a huge relief. The staff at BDR are really good at what they do, also though, they’re just really nice people who are easy to get along with and talk to. There’s a lot of people working there who have dealt with addiction themselves and because of that they completely understand what the clients are going through and how best to help them. It’s everyone working there though, whether they’ve had to deal with an addiction themselves or not, each of them is extremely dedicated to helping others get and stay off drugs. Knowing how many people were trying to help me made me work harder because I didn’t want to disappoint them. The facility in general was completely different as well. It wasn’t depressing going through rehab there, it was hard work and I had fun doing it. I learned more about myself than I ever thought possible, what kind of person I am and what kind of person I want to be and how to become that person. I learned how to deal with all the difficult situations I could find myself in so that I could continue to live drug-free. Since going through my program at BDR I have more control over my life and a confidence in my ability to stay sober that I’ve never had before. It’s not just me trying to survive anymore. I’m doing great and for the first time I’m looking forward to the future.
I didn’t want to go to Best Drug Rehab. I When I went there it was because my mom begged me to go and I hated that my choices in life and made her so miserable. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to go to BDR specifically. It was that I never wanted to go to another rehab, ever. Since I was 17 I’ve been in and out of rehab and not one of them has ever helped me. Before my mom convinced me to go to BDR I was done trying. I knew that not getting clean would lead to my death and I at that point I was okay with it. While my mom was convinced that going to BDR would help me I only went to convince her that going to rehab was pointless for me. I hated going to rehab and I didn’t think BDR would be any different. Mostly I hated that I had to go to a new place, with people I didn’t know, knowing that I’d be feeling awful the for a good portion of the time. You’d think, knowing how much I hated detoxing that I’d work harder to stay clean or at least that it’d get easier the more times I had to detox. That wasn’t the case at all and while I couldn’t seem to stay clean when I left a rehab I also hated each rehab I went to a bit more than the last. It was different at BDR though. When I first got there, the staff as well as some of the clients that were further along in their programs helped me get settled and did a lot to make me feel comfortable and secure. I was surprised by how much the staff at BDR care about the clients. It’s on a level I had never seen before. At first, I thought it was fake. Then I came to understand that a lot of the staff at BDR had dealt with their own addictions and so they completely understood what the clients were going through. Having someone I felt that I could really talk to without them judging me for what I’d done was just plain wonderful. BDR was the first rehab I went to where I trusted the counselors and was able to open up and just talk to them honestly. I learned a lot while I went through the program. A lot about addiction in general and then my addiction specifically. I came to understand what had lead me to using drugs in the first place and what I needed to be doing and not doing so I could stay clean. Being there helped me with much more than just that though. See, for me, being sober always meant being miserable. While at BDR, I learned how to truly enjoy my life while remaining sober. After being there for a bit, once a week I was able to go off property with some of the other clients and have a day doing something fun while getting a break from my program. We always had a great time and I learned, by experience, that I could have a lot of fun without being high. Between my own personal experience and seeing the staff members who had dealt with their own addiction and had completely turned their lives around I became much more motivated to work on my program. Going through rehab stopped being about proving to my mom that it wouldn’t work and became about changing my life. I wanted to make sure that I could keep doing as well as I was when I finished my program and went home. I’ve done that. Since graduating from BDR and coming home I’ve continued to make sure that I was doing what I needed to be doing and staying away from the things I needed to stay away from so that I could stay sober. I talk to my aftercare specialist constantly who makes sure I stay on track. Mostly though, I don’t feel the need to use drugs anymore and that one major difference has completely and utterly changed my life.
I’ve gone to 4 different rehabs and out of all of them Best Drug Rehab was definitely the best. I’ve been addicted to heroin since I was 17 and my life has been a wreck since then. I never finished high school; didn’t have a job and would’ve been homeless if it wasn’t for my parents letting me live with them. I’ve always hated going to rehab, but the worst part of any rehab for me was the detox. Kicking heroin isn’t ever going to be easy or fun but I was surprised at how much easier detoxing was at BDR. The people working in detox are unbelievably great at what they do. The made sure I was as comfortable as I could be and always seemed to know just what I needed to make my detox a bit easier. At BDR, you go through your program at your own pace. There isn’t a fixed time you’re there. So, at no point was any part of my program rushed and that helps a lot. When I was done with detox, I was completely done detoxing, I felt good and was even excited to start my program. Which was a new experience. One of the reasons I was excited about doing my program was because they have a bunch of programs at BDR and I was able to choose one that fit me and what I needed. Just the simple fact that I had options and could decide for myself what I to do made a huge difference in how I viewed my program. I wasn’t simply doing what everyone else was or something I’d done before with no lasting results. I got to do something I was interested in and because of that I worked harder on my program. My time at BDR wasn’t always easy. There were times, mainly in the beginning, when all I wanted was to give up, go home and get high. The counselors, the rest of the staff and even the people I went through my program with all helped me stay on track and not give up. Those days happened less and less as I went through my program until one day when I realized that the first time in forever I was truly happy. The counselors at BDR are some of the best people I’ve ever come across in my life. They are completely dedicated to helping people and that showed itself by their willingness to help me no matter what it was I needed help with or what time it was when I needed that help. I’ve got this huge support system from going to BDR. Everyone of us on our programs looked out for each other and helped each other whenever we could. I have some truly amazing friends that I met during my program and even though I’ve been home for 3 months after completing my program we all still stay in touch, check up on one another and help when we can. Between doing a program that actually helped me, having counselors and an aftercare specialist that’s easy to talk to, as well as the friends I made during my program staying clean has actually been pretty easy. When I have a bad day now, getting high isn’t the first thing I think about. I’m not using tons of energy to stay clean and instead am using that energy to improve my life.
I am writing this review as a father who sent his son to Best Drug Rehabilitation. I honestly was skeptical at first as to how this was going to work because no one else in our family had ever had a problem with addiction before, but in the end we were all very happy with Best Drug Rehabilitation and with their ability to help our son out.
Jimmy had been struggling with addiction for a couple years and had been totally unwilling to get any kind of help. He refused to get any kind of assistance. It wasn’t until he overdosed and almost died that he finally became willing to get any kind of assistance for his substance abuse habit. We got on the internet immediately and started looking for treatment centers, and that was how we came across Best Drug Rehabilitation. Best Drug Rehabilitation seemed to have the right idea of how to help our boy, and they seemed to be the most compassionate and caring of all of the treatment centers that we looked at.
When we toured Best Drug Rehabilitation, we knew this was the right center. I feel like these points made it great:
Location. The facility is in Manistee, which is a small tourist town south of us. Totally out in the middle of nowhere, and totally out in the middle of nowhere. It is the perfect place to have a rehab center and I really liked that about this place. It was very well-located and very well set up to be a place that could help people.
People. The people were really good too. When we toured the facility my wife and I both were very impressed with the people who worked there. We were very impressed with the people who held down jobs and we were very impressed with the people who were involved with this center. Everyone there was very nice and also very knowledgable at the same time. Definitely a good group of people there.
Program. I don’t know a lot about addiction rehab programs, so I can’t really tell if this program at Best Drug Rehabilitation was significantly superior to other programs, but it was definitely a great program and a great group of people working there. I will say that much. The program was very effective on Jimmy and he seemed to really connect with the methodologies and the treatment tools that Best Drug Rehabilitation used. That was enough to tell me that this was a good center.
I give Best Drug Rehabilitation five stars. I was there twice, to drop off Jim and pick him up, and I talked to the staff a lot over the phone too. These guys definitely know how to help people and they are all on the same page as far as that goes. I am thrilled about that and am happy this program is what it is. I think it is programs like this that truly make all the difference in addressing addiction in this country. I know I have my Jimmy back now and he is in a much better condition now, and I have Best Drug Rehabilitation to thank for that. Five stars all day long! If you are seeking help for yourself or a loved one and are in Michigan or are able to get here, I would definitely recommend BDR. This program is a straight shooter. They offer a long term approach, they programs are evidence-based, so the length of time and the modalities used depend on each client, and the staff are super friendly and sweet. The location is perfect, and the whole attitude of the staff are totally in the right position. I can’t think of a better place that I could have sent Jim that would have worked better either.
Best Drug Rehab was the first and hopefully the only rehab my son goes to. When he went to BDR it was because he had been using meth for a little under a year. It was scary how much my son changed in that year. First there’s all the physical changes. The weight loss and how much he picked at his face. Then there’s the emotional changes. He went from a pretty decent kid to someone I couldn’t stand to be around. He became mean and spiteful. He lied about everything and didn’t about anybody other than himself. I’m grateful that when his father and I were looking at rehab centers to send him to we found and decided on BDR. The reason we chose BDR was because it seemed different from all those other rehabs and just better somehow. Not having a set amount of time each person did the program was a big deal for me. I know my son and I knew that if he went to a 30-day program he’d just wait out his time there without really doing anything and he’d be right back on drugs when he left. So, we chose BDR because he wouldn’t have the option of not really doing the program if he wanted to complete it. I honestly didn’t take into account the fact that my son is over 18 and could’ve left at any time. About 2 weeks after he got there that’s exactly what he wanted to do. Leave. I feel in love with the staff at BDR because they were amazing with helping my son to see how much better his life would be when he wasn’t on drugs or in rehab. Nothing I could’ve said would have convinced my son to stay and finish his program. What did convince him were the staff who had dealt with their own addiction and who completely understood what he was going through. About a week after he decided to stay and completed his program I starting noticing the change in him when we spoke on the phone. He was nicer to me, more respectful. He stopped thinking that it was all about him and started caring about other people again. He was at BDR for 11 weeks doing his program and he grew up a lot while he was there. He’s done really well since finishing his program and coming home. I was surprised and really pleased to find out that the staff at BDR continued to stay in touch with him. They didn’t just send him home and forget about him. They call all the time making sure he’s doing what he’s supposed to. That he’s going to meetings and staying away from old habits, acquaintances, and places he used to hang out. They help him through anything he’s having trouble with and are just generally there for him. I appreciate the added security I get from them staying in touch. I know that they’d see if he was slipping up before me and just knowing that if something happens we can catch it and deal with all that much quicker gives me some peace of mind.
I really had a good experience with the guys and gals at Best Drug Rehabilitation. This treatment center was very helpful and very assistive to me. I feel like the program was very well thought out from the get go, and I feel like they offer some very unique services that puts them above the rest as far as addiction recovery goes. I also feel like they deliver peace of mind to people and the fact that they offer ongoing services for their clients even after their clients complete treatment to me and really does make a lot of difference. I also feel like they have more compassion and more insistence upon betterment than other treatment centers I have been to have. Don't get me wrong, there were one or two small flaws, but that is to be expected in a place that is set up to treat addiction. After all, you can't exactly expect a rehabilitation program to be this perfect and totally wonderful place that's full of butterflies and rainbows. There are going to be hard times and there is going to be some rough emotions and some difficulty from going there. That is just the way it is. But nevertheless the Best Drug Rehabilitation program was able to show me a pathway to recovery that was very pleasant and very workable for me. They were able to deliver peace of mind and a well thought out recovery system. Overall I feel as though this program really gave me something great and really showed me a way to peace of mind that I wasn't available to get otherwise.
I also felt like the staff and employees at Best Drug Rehabilitation were on a completely different level than most rehab center employees are. Most people take this kind of job just because they need a steady paycheck. Which you will definitely get it from working at a treatment center. But after only a couple days at Best Drug Rehabilitation, I wound up pretty quickly seeing that everybody who works here has the mission of helping people and bettering peoples’ lives. That really stuck with me. I made lifelong friends at Best Drug Rehabilitation because of this.
I also really like that they did not force me to do any approach or treatment method that did not jive with me. I really like that their main message and their main technique was very useful for me. I appreciated the fact that they offered a results-based and multi-modality approach. They utilized about 12 or maybe even 14 or 15 different treatment technologies all under one roof. Rehab centers I had gone to in the past were simply the boring, cut and dried, repetitive 12 step programs. Not Best Drug Rehabilitation though. Best Drug Rehabilitation saw to it that I received immaculate care that I was able to to a degree pick and choose the kinds of recovery program that I was going to get. This made a significant difference for me in the types of services that I was able to receive. Because of this I was able to pick mostly holistic approaches that had more of a hands-on, more practical approach to them than the more spiritual, 12-step methods that I had become accustomed to at other treatment centers. All in all it was a good recipe for success for me. The treatments were truly unique and truly effective in showing me a pathway to freedom from addiction that I definitely would not have been able to get anywhere else. To my knowledge, Best Drug Rehabilitation is the best place in Michigan to go for addiction treatment. So, if you are seeking help for yourself or for a loved one who is struggling with addiction, then I strongly recommend this program. My hat is off to them, and I give them five stars for saving my life and for showing me peace of mind.
At the end of the day I am very pleased that I went to Best Drug Rehabilitation. This treatment center presents a very workable and unique route to helping people to beat addiction for life. I don't think I have ever seen a program quite like this one that offered these types of services. For me, this program definitely made a lot of sense.
Since I went to Best Drug Rehab my life has completely changed for the better. 5 years ago, I started using heroin and have been on and off it since then. The only time in the last 5 years I was ever really off the stuff was when I was either in rehab or just getting out of one. The problem I had was that while I would get clean at rehab going to rehab never felt it did much good except cleaning me up for a little while. I would get out of each rehab knowing that it wasn’t going to last and that at some point I would end up relapsing. It wasn’t that the desire to stay clean wasn’t there but the ability and knowledge wasn’t there so I’d end up relapsing. That all changed when I went to Best Drug Rehab. The biggest difference for me between BDR and every other rehab I’ve ever been to was the simple fact that I had fun when I was at BDR. The staff at BDR are completely dedicated to helping the clients that go there but they also made sure we had a good time while there. I started doing the yoga classes that they have. I’d never had any particular interest in yoga before and just did it as something to do. Turns out, really good for me. More than just the exercise it helped me throughout my program. I was calmer and able to focus better. There’s also regular time set aside for exercise which was great for me. I’ve always hated the fact that I’d go to rehab underweight and leave 10-15 pounds overweight. It made it harder for me to stay clean when I just didn’t feel all that good about myself. Being able and encouraged to exercise every day helped me tremendously. That, and having a healthy diet that actually tasted good made it so I was able to gain the weight I needed to gain in order to be a healthy weight but not much more than that. By the time I finished my program I looked and felt healthy. I wasn’t just sober, I was healthy. Which is pretty awesome and has helped an incredible amount since being home. I loved that we went off property once a week just to have a day of fun. It was so nice just to go out, have a day with the other clients and experience life again. Seeing how great a time I had sober, around other people who were sober was amazing. Just going to rehab shows that you have a desire to change your life. By going out with the other clients let me see how my progress I was making in doing that. The longer I was at BDR, the happier I was, the more I smiled and laughed and had a good time just being me again. I haven’t ever felt this good about myself or this in control of my own life and it’s an amazing feeling.
Going through the program at Best Drug Rehab has completely changed my sister’s life. For 13 years my sister has been struggling with her drug addiction. For those 13 years she’s been in and out of so many rehabs that I lost count. In the beginning when my sister would go to and then finish her rehab and come home I would be excited. Thinking that my sister was not all better but sober and that she’d work to stay that way. That wasn’t the case at all. After each program, my sister did she relapse rather quickly. Usually within the first week or two but never staying clean for more than a month or two. It’s been a long time since I felt that way and eventually I gave up any hope I did have that she’d ever change or even want to change. When my mom told me that she was sending my sister to yet another rehab I didn’t think much of it. I stopped caring whether my sister was in rehab or out of rehab a long time ago and I wasn’t going to put any stock in her just going to rehab. Whether I paid any attention to what my sister was doing or not doing didn’t matter though. Going to BDR made a huge difference in her life. There’s a few things about BDR that she told me about that I really liked. There’s no time limit there. Each client is there for however long they need to be. My sister was able to take her time on her program. Also, they have multiple programs at BDR. Meaning, my sister wasn’t stuck doing a program that hadn’t worked for her before. She did a program that she felt comfortable doing and she got a lot out of it. The staff at BDR was something that she absolutely raved about. She loved her counselor and told me that he was the first counselor she’d ever had that she felt comfortable talking to. She was never made to feel like she wasn’t a good person because she got addiction to drugs. Instead, the staff were extremely understanding and just wanted to help each of their clients. When I spoke to my sister, for the first time in years she sounded genuinely happy. She completely stopped making any kind of excuse for her drug use and instead focused on just doing her program and getting everything she could out of it she could so that when she graduated and came home she was able to apply what she’d learned and would be able to stay clean and sober. 8 months ago is when she graduated and she’s had no relapses. She’s happier than she’s been in years and she’s sober. For 13 years I dreaded every phone call I got from my mom. I was always worried that this time she’d be calling to tell me my sister had overdosed and died. I’m not worried about that anymore. It’s such a relief not having to worry if my sister is alive or dead. Going to Best Drug Rehab has changed my sister’s life completely.
BDR provides comprehensive care for recovering addicts, with a focus on drug and alcohol abuse. The counselors that you come to work with is going to help you make sure that you can learn coping skills. They have been trained to make sure that you are going to get the right coping skills for your life, and you are going to have to make sure that you are learning as much as you can. There are courses that will help you learn so much about recovering and basic life skills just for living day to day. People who come to BDR are going to be able to kick drugs and alcohol in a rehab program that is going to tend to their medical and their spiritual needs at the same time. The staff in the center are there to help everyone make sure that they are going to feel their best and they really care about the people in the program. You are going to learn so much about yourself in this program and what got you to this point. Know that if you are enrolled are going to get a wide range of options that are going to help you get the care that they believe they are going to need. This is the best program for people who want to make sure that they can live their lives drug-free after a program, and the people who are on the staff of the center are going to help everyone get sober with the kind of help that they need to learn new skills. It is a great place to come for assistance, and it is a very safe place to come when people want to have someone caring on their side. Best Drug Rehabilitation is the best place for people to go when they want to get well, and everyone who comes through the door needs to make sure that they are ready to learn and work with the people around them. The BDR approach is very important here, and it helps to change lives that have been taken over by drugs and alcohol in the past. Insurances are accepted also and they will help you with that.
I wanted to say a few words here and talk briefly about my experience at Best Drug Rehabilitation. This treatment center helped me to overcome an alcohol addiction that I had been struggling with for some time. This was an alcohol addiction that no other treatment center had been able to help me get over. I can definitely say with certainty that my addiction was a tough one to say the least, and the treatment center at Best Drug Rehabilitation served me well in its ability to help me get past my addiction.
I truly felt like the recovery services I got at this program were and are more valuable than those I had gotten at other programs. I don't think there was anything necessarily wrong or bad about the other programs, it is just that they could not help me in the way that Best Drug Rehabilitation did. This recovery center was truly exceptional in how it was able to help me find the key, underlying issues that were actually causing me to abuse drugs and alcohol in the first place.
That was very incredible and helpful to say the least. This program assisted me where others could not. It wasn't even that it was only a one on one training program. Best Drug Rehabilitation also offered a lot of group sessions and group therapy as well. However, The focus and the intention of the program was very tailor constructed to each individual person, and I feel like that is what made it exceptionally helpful for me. With the tools that I got at this treatment center, I was able to learn about the exact reasons as to why I kept turning to drug and alcohol abuse as a habit.
The Best Drug Rehabilitation treatment center really helped me a lot, and it showed me the way out of even the most unpleasant and difficult of times. I learned a lot from going to this program and learned things about myself that I was not able to learn at other treatment centers. This facility taught me how to respect and appreciate those around me, and to work hard to try to repair the damage that my actions on others have caused in the past. Best Drug Rehabilitation also gave me the tools to cope with life in recovery.
The staff at Best Drug Rehabilitation showed me exactly what I needed to work on to have a good chance at having a good life after treatment too, which was a big deal in giving me a full and lasting recovery I felt. I had forgotten a lot of things that I should have known and should have remembered to maintain my recovery in the past and from past treatment centers I had gone too. Other centers did not have as strong of a focus on maintaining sobriety that Best Drug Rehabilitation did.
These other centers were good, but they did not create long term recovery for me. With Best Drug Rehabilitation though, they set me up for a future of stability in the future where I knew I could actually stay sober for life if I put my mind on it. I really respect and appreciate them for that. I have no doubt in my mind that if I had not gone to Best Drug Rehabilitation that I would have just relapsed. However, this treatment center helped me greatly by giving me the tools and the freedoms that I needed to stay sober for life. Now that I have made it through this program, I would strongly recommend this program to other people who are trying to beat and addiction struggle. Without a doubt, the treatments and the approach of Best Drug Rehabilitation is very effective and will help you triumph over your addiction.
I am glad to have been told about Best Drug Rehab. I know first hand what it is like to live a life of addiction that I can not escape at times. To come into a program that cares about getting you clean and off drugs makes a difference. I was at the end of my rope in life. I did not know what to do. BDR is an good example of a rehab center who cares. Everybody thinks that rehab is tough and in the beginning the thought of it is. It is a scary thought and I know I resisted it and know so many people that have because of pure fear. Years of drug and alcohol abuse are pure painful hell on Earth. I can't take go back an undo what I have done but I can have control of where I am going now. BDR helped me to learn the tools to cope. Lots of learning and lots of talking to help you get to where you need to go. I am so glad I was able to do this. The staff really cares and the facility is nice. Some of the staff realy give their all and have a lot of compassion to where you have been and where you want to go. you can finally take the time to learn how to have a life after living a drug addict for so long. This has been one of the most important learning experiences of my life and I hope to continue on learning from it. I was skeptical at first and I am glad that I took the leap of faith and went with the program. It was so important to learn what I did and start anew life. I hope to pay it forward as the people there made such an impact and I have so much to give to the world. Thank you BDR and thank you those that are there.
I've gone to Best Drug Rehab twice and both times I went I had a great experience. The first time I went to BDR was 2 years ago. My parents had found it and I wasn't too excited to go to rehab to say the least. More, I've always hated new places where I don't know anybody. So, for the first couple weeks while I was detoxing the staff in detox were great about making me feel comfortable in my surroundings and the discomfort I felt from detoxing off heroin wasn't too bad. I had it hyped up in my head as this completely insurmountable thing and while it was pretty awful it wasn't something that I couldn't do. The staff helped me see that and I was able to get through detox and onto my program. Going through the program helped me understand why I started using heroin in the first place. The counselors never just told me the answers but helped me find my own answers. That program helped me so much. When I graduated and came home I stayed clean for over a year. I started working and went back to school. I was happy. 6 months ago, I relapsed. Because of what I had learned at BDR I was able to handle my relapse quickly. I told my parents, asked them to send me back to BDR which they did and then worked through the program again. I learned just as much the second time as I did the first time and I’ve been clean again for 4 months. Going to BDR gave me the tools I need to handle every part of my life. I know how to handle everyday things but also was able to handle a relapse quickly and got right back on track.
My parents found Best Drug Rehab for me and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get clean. I’ve been using heroin for 10 years and trying to get off it just as long. I’ve been to a few rehabs and they none of them were all that great for me. They were all 28-day programs and when the 28 days were up I still wouldn’t be feeling all that great. I would go home and it very quickly would be a struggle to stay clean. I would try but staying clean became a willpower thing and that’s not something I’ve ever had a lot of. If it was I would have been able to just quit on my own without going to rehab at all. BDR wasn’t a 28-day program those. In fact, there isn’t a set time that you’re there. The program is done at your own pace and you move forward in your program when you are ready to move forward. That, all by itself made the biggest difference to me. I never felt rushed. I never felt anything less than completely confident before I was moved to my next step. After that, the staff made the biggest difference for me. I’ve never been in a place where all the staff honestly care about the clients. You have some places, where you have a few people who really care. BDR though it was every single staff member honestly cared about each and every client. The counselors there are fantastic. They know what they’re talking about and always made time for me whenever I needed it. At no point in my program was I unable to talk to a counselor if I needed it. It didn’t matter what time it was or when they were supposed to go home. None of it seemed to matter if I needed help. It’s that way with every client there. They make the time to help everyone and it’s a vastly different experience than the other rehabs I’ve been too. Another thing that helps is that they have staff there who have had their own experiences with drug or alcohol addiction. What that means is that when you talk about your past experiences, you can without any fear of judgement or fearing that they just wouldn’t understand what you went through. It’s freeing. Being able to talk to someone who truly understands and just wants to help you. I was at BDR for a little over 2 months and I truly enjoyed my time there. I was able to get the tools I needed to turn my life into something that I’d be proud of. Since completely the program and coming home I’ve been staying with my parents. It amazes me sometimes how much easier it is being around my parents now. I’m happy being at home with them. Hanging out with my mom again without her worrying that I’m getting high is awesome. I’m working now. Been working at the same place for 2 months and while that doesn’t seem like much, it’s the longest I’ve been able to hold a job. Apparently, keeping a job is fairly easy when you aren’t getting high, are actually there and working when you’re supposed to be. All in all, BDR has helped me in more ways than I could say. Mostly though, I’m happy. Happier than I’ve ever been and it’s because of the program and the people at Best Drug Rehab.
I could not be more pleased with the recovery process that my friend received at Best Drug Rehabilitation. This rehab center truly helped him and truly assisted him in getting clean from drug and alcohol addiction once and for all and for good. The rehab center and recovery program was simple and ultimately very effective in the care options that it provides to people. The program did wonders for my best friend, and I do not think that I would be here today if it had not been for the treatment center and recovery program and the services and care options that they were able to offer him.
The Best Drug Rehabilitation program is simple and effective and ultimately very helpful in the care options and services that they give to people who go there. My best friend Jeremy spoke very highly of his experience there and he seemed to do very well for having gone there. I don’t think that he would still be here if it had not been for the program. The program can provide a wide variety of different service options that seem to be able to really help people. I’ll go over the key points of the rehab program that seemed to have a very strong effect on Jeremy:
First of all, the staff at this rehab program were just great. I toured the facility with his family, and I also have his testimony of the program and how he did there. The staff were some of the kindest souls I have ever had the fortune of meeting. The program at the Best Drug Rehabilitation has staff working there who are totally dedicated to helping people and to giving them a new level of care and stability that is lasting and permanent. The staff who work at this center strive to help people go free from addiction by offering workable care options and simple methods of getting people free from addiction. The staff show daily that they are working at this rehab program for a lot more than just a paycheck.
The next thing that really helped Jeremy that we also noticed was unique about this rehab program (he had been to two rehabs before this one) was the fact that the program was a multi-modality recovery approach, meaning they used multiple approaches for addressing drug and alcohol addiction and for helping people find freedom and stability from an addiction struggle. This was also truly interesting and unique about the program also. The previous programs he had been to really only used one or two key methods for tackling substance abuse within their facilities. Best Drug Rehabilitation used more than that, and their recovery methods and treatment approaches really showed in their efforts to help people. The program used multiple different treatment solutions to help Jeremy go free from addiction.
The time period that Best Drug Rehabilitation did this all in was also unique. Most rehab centers only offer a strict, cut and dried recovery option that allows for a twenty-eight day approach. Best Drug Rehabilitation offers a far more effective approach by giving their clients evidence-based time in true programs. This means that they will not graduate you from the program unless you are absolutely ready to strike out on your own. The program gave Jeremy more than two months of time there to get clean.
The Best Drug Rehabilitation program also offers a very workable aftercare program too, which helped people to find care and stability in their efforts to tackle life after rehab. I think this aspect is what has encouraged Jeremy to have such a workable life after rehab. He has been able to stay in touch with the treatment center even in his recovery, continuing to get help and support from them.
When all is said and done, I am thrilled with the services and the help that Jeremy received at Best Drug Rehabilitation. This rehab center and recovery program offered a caring recovery program that has helped Jeremy find a new life that is totally drug free.
What an experience! I did not personally go to Best Drug Rehabilitation. The Best Drug Rehabilitation program actually helped to save my son’s life and to give him a new chance and a new focus to help him in his efforts and his desire to beat drug and alcohol addiction once and for all and for good. I was really impressed with his much this rehab center was able to help my son, and how different he as when he got back from going to the center.
I wanted to include in this review a pretty well rounded summary of what this rehab center is all about. There seems to be a lot of confusion and a lot of different ideas about what drug and alcohol addiction treatment is all about. For that reason I have included in this review a pretty good idea of just what this rehab center is all about. I want to go over a few points about this rehab center that I really liked, all from my own experiences with them as a parent of the individual who went to the program.
1). The Best Drug Rehabilitation staff really helped my son and they helped me and my wife too, honestly. They offered a simple yet incredibly effective recovery method that served to assist him in his getting clean from drug and alcohol addiction. They also helped my wife and I a lot by providing us with simple and pleasant and ultimately very helpful parents-with-addicts methods and rehabilitative approaches.
2). In addition to actually helping my wife and me deal with the struggle of having a kid who was addicted to drugs and alcohol, my wife and I were very pleased and very impressed with how well Best Drug Rehabilitation did at helping people find their path and find their level of recovery that was lasting and permanent. The program was actually able to put together a very specific program that served to help my son find his recovery and hist stability from addiction.
3). Essentially, Best Drug Rehabilitation offered a results-based, tailor-made, very workable recovery option for my son. The program offered to him a results-based, tailor-made, multi-modality approach to addressing drug and alcohol addiction and to really doing something about the problem as it relates to people.
4). Best Drug Rehabilitation also offered a very effective and well put together recovery method for beating drug and alcohol addiction on a long term basis. By this is meant that, after my son completed their primary care option, they also had him enroll in an aftercare program so that he could continue to work on his sobriety. In fact, it has almost been a year since my son went to Best Drug Rehabilitation and he is still in touch with counselors there and is still getting help from them in his efforts to tackle his addiction and really actually do something about it. Now, he is not still using drugs and alcohol, but he still considers himself a recovering addict definitely. So he gets a lot of help and assistance from the Best Drug Rehabilitation in an ongoing aftercare option.
5). The Best Drug Rehabilitation rehab center also offers a great detox option too. They were able to help my brother beat his chemical and physical aspects of drug and alcohol addiction. This was great and really quite excellent I thought.
At the end of the day, I was very helpful and very pleased with the level of help and care that this rehab applied to my son. I would strongly recommend this rehab center to anyone who was wanting to beat drug and alcohol addiction once and for all and for good, or the program can also help family members of drug and alcohol addicts.
If you or someone you know and love has fallen on hard times with a drug or alcohol addiction program, then check out Best Drug Rehabilitation. Possibly the thing that I noticed the most was the care factor and the level of help and care and assistance that just came as a standard service from the Best Drug Rehabilitation program and recovery organization. This rehab center has their clients' best interests as first up.
If you have someone you love who needs to go to drug rehab you couldn’t send them to a better place than Best Drug Rehab. My brother went there about a year ago and he has changed so dramatically since then. All for the better of course. My brother was addicted to heroin for 6 years and had been to enough rehabs that our whole family was jaded about them. None of them helped him and while we knew that the rehabs he went to weren’t bad places we couldn’t get over how useless it seemed to be to send him to them. Going to Best Drug Rehab was different though. The program itself is different because there isn’t just one set program for their patients to do. They have so many different treatment options that each patient can find the program that is right for him. When my brother made the choice of which of the programs to do he also the made the choice to do that program fully and completely. He was in charge of his own recovery this time and that made such a big difference with him. He had always complained about the rehabs he went to. He hated being at them or he hated the counselors or the food. I mean really, there was always something about whichever rehab he was at that he hated. When my brother went to BDR I wasn’t talking to him and hadn’t in 2 years so he started writing me letters. I was sure when I got that first letter that it was going to be a book about how much he hated the place. I was surprised though at how much he seemed to truly love it there. He talked on and on about his counselor and how much he liked working with her. How easy it was to listen to her advice and how easy it was to talk to her about his life. He told me how much the staff cared about the patients there and that it just felt different from every other rehab he’d been to. He continued to send letters throughout his program and there isn’t one complaint in all of them. They have a music room there that’s filled with tons of different instruments and he spent most of his free time in that music room playing the guitar again for the first times in years. He had sold his guitar so many years ago and hadn’t played since so he was so happy to be able to start playing again. By the time my brother finished his program we were talking again. When he came home after completing the program he just started going to meetings right away and talking to his aftercare specialist constantly. We had family dinner every week and it was so great seeing him like that again. Clean, sober and happy. He was taking care of himself again. 3 months after coming home he went back to BDR to work and has been there, working since. We talk all the time again and he loves what he’s doing with his life. He loves being able to help people who have the same program he did and he’s makes a difference in their lives. It’s truly amazing how much my brother has changed since going to Best Drug Rehab.
