I'm so happy that this place was good. I needed it to be. I dealt with 2 other companies that were laughable at best. They charged absurdly high for laundry services and never delivered on time. Bed Bug Laundry was a nice change of pace. They were professional and completely accountable for what they promised to me. I've been working with them for about 4 months now and have never had any discrepancies. Chris is a godsend!
Used self service laundry. I was there on time to pick up my laundry. But they already moved my laundry outside. They are so unfriendly all the time. They threw changes or receipt all the time. One time a machine did not work, so I asked the worker, she said "Omg.....(with annoying face)" I never ever want to go back. Even ONE STAR is too much for this place!!
I have been doing my laundry ever since but not after I have found out about their services. It doesn't cost too much, so I would rather let them do the laundry now.
If you want to get rid of bed bugs you have to kill them and wash them off your clothes, thats how the man from Terminix explained it. It was either my friend that stayed over for a few days visiting NYC in March or the Lowes movie theater, I am not 100% sure of how I got them, the only thing I know is that they are gone now and I am gratefull for that even if it cost me $300 to have all my clothes and shoes cleaned. If you have symptoms or suspect that you have been exposed call Bed Bug Laundry, trust me.
I was unfortunate to have to use this laundry service for bedbugs twice, they were originally recommended to me by Orkin. I am fortunate that they exist. Good service. No problems. They delivered my clothes all cleaned to the new apartment I moved to. All's well that ends well and don't let the bed bugs bite.
Its places like this that make NYC a wonderful place to live in when you are in an unfortunate situation. This has got to be the best service in existence. I had my whole wardrobe dry cleaned and washed and returned to me in less than a week. Although my bedbug problem was small, I could have never done this alone, never.
Great service and great people. Bob explained everything clearly and cleaned all my things. Everything was returned in 3 days, I hope not to go through this again.
I used this bed bug laundry service in NYC in June, all the team was great they even cleaned my wife's Christian Louboutin shoes. I had sent all my suits, shirts, jackets and blazers and we got everything back in just a couple of days. Although I no longer have a bed bug problem, I still use them for my laundry and dry cleaning. This company is truly the best.
Very nice place... The guy in the front is very nice. My clothes came out clean and smelling fresh. No complains here
Don't use the services here. This laundry that also has the address as 520 Isham street Is an awful place. I been there for a total of 4 times from June - August 2012 but never again. The place is dirty that includes the little washing -cars, baskets, bathroom, the towel they use to clean... The people attending are not people-person, no manners they are ignorant, and have no clue how to handle a business. Not to mention is overprice, $2.00 for the small load, $3.50 medium, 5.25 for the biggest load,$ 0.25 for 8 minutes in the dryer. Here are the details of my unacceptable experience in that place. In my fist and second visit I saw the workers mishandle clothes from the drop-off-service when clothes item failed to the floor while removing the load from the dryer they just retuned the item with the clean clothes to be folded.Additionally, I had place delicate clothes in the dryer at low temperature and left the business for the 30 minutes for the time that it was going to be drying. As I return before the machine finish I notice the worker had increase the temperature to high. When the worker saw me staring at the temperature setting he smile and said that he increase the time so that I don't complain that the clothes didn't dry! I just said "ok" and hopped that my clothes was not ruined. My third time it was a different person working yet I had the same problem with the temperature. My fourth time and last, was the WORSE, I put my clothes in the washer and left for 35 minutes. When I arrived the worker had place my clothes in a basket. I understand that if I'm not there when the load finish and someone needs the machine the rule is that the clothe will be remove but there was exactly 7 vacant machines of the same size and only 2 clients. The workers placed my clothes in a basket that was filthy. Very calmly but very sad I approach the worker and ask if she had taken out my clothes. She started yelling part of it not even in English; I only understood that she took it out because I was gone for a long time, to which I answered very calmly that the problem was the place where she put the clothes and not the action of her taking out the clothes. She continue screaming I guess to me and also to another worker, i'm no sure because it was in another language, I didn't said anything but put the clothes back in the washer. Still without said anything anything else I when to the Quoter changing machine to change money to put the rest of my clothes in the Dryer when the male worker came up to me and said "if you don't- like don't come anymore" to what I just answered "ok". As I was leaving to pick up the detergent from my home, I notice he turn on the machine to wash the clothes that had been in the dirty basket with no soap. He should've at least tell me that he was going to turn on the machine so that I could tell him to wait for me to get the detergent. To make the experience more dreadful, 2 of the dryers I picked for sheets and towels did not dry in 40 minutes-high, I had to change the machine and pay for 32 minutes for each of the 2 loads. After spending$ 28.50 paying the machines in that laundry I headed out walking by the workers and they didn't even acknowledge me. In non of my visits to this laundry did they said I'm sorry. I so wish things where different this is the only laundry I know of in this area, the business has a lot of machines and I never seen it crowded.
