Zero Stars. These Bozos' drove my car, overheating it and damaged the head gasket. On a BMW that is "expensive". They are supposed to note your mileage when they accept it in their shop; mileage should be clearly noted when it is finished and ready for pickup; suspiciously, the mileage notations were missing. I had recorded the miles when I initially brought the car to them. They charged my Insurance Co (ALLSTATE) about $5,000. Clearly they are amateurs or straight-out Crooks. They removed the rubber mouldings from the SunRoof, WindShield & Rear Window. They put the same SunRoof Rubber fitting back on which caused leakage from rain and Car Washes. They put the Winshield and Rear Window Rubber back in but kept the chrome moulding for themselves. When I complained, they re-installed the Windshield Chrome but redused to replace the rear window chrome, arguing it was never there initially. Their own photos taken by themselves (when I brought the Car in) proved they were liars. They acted like they did me a favor. They messed my Car up and performed Amateur repairs. I would NOT recommend them to ANYBODY. I will NEVER go to them again. My name is William G. Eldridge, a Manhattan Resident for ten (10) years. ph: (815) 258-9513. ~ I junked my BMW for $400. after their $5,000+ Repair & Paint Job. A house painter would have rendered better results. No excuse for putting miles on my car.
I had to bring my vehicle in for minor cosmetic touchups. When I picked up my vehicle, to my surprise, the exterior was cleaned and waxed and the interior was vacuumed and cleaned thoroughly (which it desperately needed). Also, they obtained a quote to fix my transmission troubles at a nearby shop (I didn't even ask). Hopefully I don't require further collision repair in the future, but if I do - I will return to Manhattan Collision Center.
