My computer was stolen and later brought into an Apple Store for a jailbreak. They called me to pick it up since it was still registered to me. I had since moved and told them it was stolen and asked the store manager not to give it to the thief and told them that I would pay for the repairs and for them to send the computer back to me. The detective that I had filed the report with also called the store and advised that it was reported stolen and also instructed him not to give the computer to the thief as there was an on going police investigation. I did not authorize the person that brought it in to have it (they had to replace the hard drive because it was locked) however although instructed not to the Manager in the Manhattan CA Apple store gave it to the person that brought it in and did not pay any heed to the fact there was a police report and that by then 13 different people at Apple that I had contacted told the store to hold it.They offered me 50% off on a new one. What a joke! Case #969391507Help me to spread the word.
I came last night to get new i mac for my office (BTW already have 6 of them) carrying heavy I Mac to be fixed at the same time, but young Irma, their employe, was so rude and she told me if I do not have an appointment nobody can see me and work with me since they are to busy!Worst experience EVER!
Prices are UNREAL. Beats ALL the competition. Sales associates are far more friendly than Best Buy, and more knowledgeable although one time someone had an obviously wrong answer. I LOVE FRY'S!!
