I was waiting for a call to schedule the delivery of a nebulizer for my daughter, and missed their call by a second - I watched it go to voicemail as I was picking up the phone. I called them back immediately and was received by a gentleman with zero respect. He said "We called you two minutes ago, why didn't you answer?" In the rudest way imaginable. I'm sorry, but I have a sick kid at home and my cell phone isn't constantly in my hand. He will not be coming into my house when he gets here. He can drop it off and expect a personal complaint to his manager after. This person works for people that need equipment because they are SICK! Decent human courtesy would be nice. I will NEVER be working with this company again.
I am absolutely appalled by the way I was treated when calling Elliot Home Medical Equipment. My 2 year old son was given a script for a nebulizer that was sent to our pharmacy in Nashua. Our pharmacist there told us that it would be more affordable to have it filled at Elliot Home Medical Equipment and that all I would need to do is have Home Medical call our pharmacy so that she could electronically release the prescription. When I asked the woman at Home Medical if this was possible, she was incredibly rude and snapped at me, "why would I call them? Why wouldn't you just ask them to fax it to ME?" I said, "well, I've never done this before and I'm happy to have them fax it if that is the process, I was just trying to find out how this all works and gave you the information that I was given from our local pharmacist." She continued on by repeating, "there is no need for ME to call THEM, you should be able to take care of this yourself...." I cut her off and told her nevermind, I didn't want to to do business with her. The lack of professionalism and basic kindness/courtesy was just disgusting! I would never recommend them nor will I ever do business with them in the future.
Buyer BEWARE! GIFT Receipt states that new, non-seasonal, full-priced merchandise can be RETURNED within 30 days. On day 4, I tried to return the unused $70 Vera bag that I received as a gift and they refused to refund it - exchange or store credit only unless you have the ORIGINAL receipt.
