We went here for a birthday celebration with a group of friends on March 1, 2014. We were attending the 10pm late show to see the comedian Brad Williams. We had a good time until the last 15 minutes of the show when we received our bill for drinks. Turns out we were charged an extra $4 per drink for "top shelf liquor" on each drink when that was not what we ordered. We ordered regular drinks in souvenir glasses. Our entire 9 person party was overcharged on the drinks we ordered. The server, who was a young kid, got argumentative and extremely rude with us over it so we demanded to speak with management. We were then told by the manager that because we consumed it we had to pay for it even though it was not what we ordered. The bill confusion and argument with us over this error ruined the ending of the show for us and upset our birthday celebration. Then we were held up for an additional 45 minutes after the show trying to settle this only to be basically told "screw you" and given a lousy $2 discount per drink. Considering they made several hundred off of our table without having to overcharge us, this was a huge slap in the face. This incident destroyed what should have been a fun evening out. I will never ever return there again. For future comedy shows I will stick to Mohegan Sun.

this place sucks the bouncer let people cut line , and if they see someone cutting all they do is tell them they shouldnt be doing that cuz people been waiting in line also long , the rink are outrages , the place is little as hell , you will be rubbing elbows with someone you dont know , and the food sucks , its not worh spending your money there you want a good place to go , check out COMIX at foxwoods thats big,.. pretty cheap and the service is excilent they treat you with repsct you have everything there that funnybones doesnt have , funny bones is a joke ... dont spend your money there you will regret it ....

I was a regular customer at Funny Bone since it first open. I have brought alot of friends here over the years. I was celebrating my husbands birthday and decided to do a night out at Funny bone with my brother and sister in law. Being as I am pregnant there's not much I can do! We arrived early and waited in line for an hour. Two women cut in front of us and would not move. As the line got closer to go in they then let 5 more women that was with them waiting outside the line and let them cut in as well. Being upset about this I told the bouncer. He repeatedly told them to leave the line which they did not. They preceded to say inappropriate things to us because we told someone about all of them cutting. Still the bouncer stood there and did nothing besides tell them to go to the back and they still didnt. As we got to the front the progressively got louder and refused to leave the line. two of which then made racial comments to my inlaws that are puerto rican and told them to go back to Hartford. All in saying this as they were being let in to be seated. The comments caused an uproar in line My water spilled and next thing you know I am being accused of throwing water and myself and the 3 others I was with were told to leave with no refund on our tickets! After repeatedly asking for my money back mall security and police were called to escort me out. I am 5 months pregnant. I am shocked that I was treated this way at this establishment. I am shocked after hearing the racist comments said to us and the women cutting us in line that WE are the ones that were kicked out and they were let in. I will never go back here. I do not recommend this place either. The Funny bone used to be good and over time the line has become horrible to stand in. Seating is first come first serve and even when arriving early people are still allowed to cut. Then to be talked to that way and accused I did something wrong and told to leave without a refund by the staff while the bouncer watched this all happen and did nothing about it. The staff and the way I was treated disgust me. I would not recommend this place at all.
