The guy who came never stopped talking he actually said that he was not an expert in heating problems, he’s a air conditioner guy. He charged us 100.00 for hitting a reset button, not fixing the problem. I called aiello they came right out and told us that there is a carbon monoxide issue it was leaking co. I would not go to r and r again.

The plumber kept talking to me non stop the whole time he was there. I thought maybe he won't charge me for him talking so much instead of working as it is $90 per hour. But he did. I was so exhausted and my mistake was writing him a check instead of standing up for myself. I called the owner and he agreed that he talks too much to be friendly. But on my dime? The owner didn't offer to make it good so we feel we got taken. We would of used this company always had they been honest and fair. I told him that and he said, I thought you had a friend that is a plumber. What does that have to do with being responsible and honest. We have a friend but doesn't do it so much anymore. I blame myself for giving him the check when I knew I shouldn't. It was a tough situation. It was a simple job. I know that for a fact because of my plumber friend. Shame on them!

Stay away. We had an issue with leaking valves under the kitchen sink, and a dishwasher that needed to have new drain line installed. The plumber (not the owner) spent more time arguing with the homeowner than he did actually doing any work. The dishwasher? It's still not installed properly. The leaking valves below the sink? He claimed that he "tightened" them...and they still leak. The charge of $293 dollars for three hours of "labor" was absolutely ridiculous. As he left the house, all he said was, "You need to a new dishwasher." Nope, wrong again Mr. "plumber." It's a high end brand and only five years old. Your incompetence as a plumber doesn't mean we need a new unit.

A few days later, we called the company on a weekend because the leaks were bad and we had put pans under the sink to catch the water. The answering service promised a call back and...surprise...nothing. Absolutely nothing. No phone call, no response, nothing. If this is their version of "customer service," then I want absolutely nothing to do with this company and will never recommend anyone does business with them. Good luck growing your business by word of mouth, R&R Plumbing, because your business practices and plumbing acumen need of a lot of improvement.

I have been using R & R for at least 15 years, and they have always been responsive and accommodating, and their prices are reasonable.

I am very surprised by the comments from others here because my experience has been the complete opposite. One of my dear friends has been using them for longer than me--she was the one who recommended them to me, in fact--and she has a 200 year old English tudor, so you can imagine the kind of work that she has needed over the years, including repairs and modernizing.

I have used them for hot water heater repairs, garbage disposal repairs, plumbing leaks and drain clogs and they have always fixed them promptly and permanently. In fact they talked us OUT of a new water heater at my mom's condo, and instead did a repair at about half the cost.

I would highly recommend them.

I would not recommend anyone g...

I would not recommend anyone go with R & R Plumbing. We some pluming problems and called them to come out for an estimate. The plumber they sent was rude, only looked at the most minor problem we had called the company to look at (a leaky toilet) before insisting that he would have to come back to provide an estimate for the other problems, lied about being unable to get replacement parts for said toilet, and then proceeded to charge us over $40 for a 10 minute assessment and absolutely no work.

The toilet in question was an American Standard and the plumber insisted that the company, "Doesn't stand by their products." He went outside to call his boss, the owner of the company, who told him that they had no replacement parts in stock and would have to order them which would cost around $100. Predictably the Plumber tried to sell us a new toilet, which he assured us the owner of R&R plumbing would give us a great deal on ($150) because he was, "a stand up guy."

Unsure of whether or not we wanted a new toilet or to fix the old one we thanked the plumber for his time at which time he told us that the charge for the estimate would be over $40. There had been no prior notice of any such charge. Though I know some companies do charge for estimates I have never encountered one that assesses such a charge without prior notice. As we just wanted the plumber, seemed more a used car salesman than an honest tradesman, out of our home, we wrote him a check and sent him on his way.

Generally suspicious of what we were told we went online and did some research. We found the replacement parts we needed for $22.13, a far cry from the $100 we were told they would cost. Curious as to how far the plumber’s lies went we called American Standard, the company that made the toilet. Within five minutes their representative had apologized for the failure of the product and had shipped us the necessary parts for the repair at no charge. So much for a company that doesn’t stand behind their product.

I don’t know if the plumbers at R&R are skilled in their trade, but I do know that if you want a company that is good with customer service, and more importantly has some honesty and integrity, then keep looking because you won’t find it with R&R.

Adequate plumber but can probably find better

Unclogged a drain in my 76 year old mother's house. Charged over $200 and left a mess in the basement for her to clean up.
