I ordered a hamburger during dinner hour, and it wasn't right 3 times!!! The place is not what it used to be!! Don't go. Only go for the beer and live music. Even the women behind the bar won't be nice or serve quick. They serve and talk to the regulars only. I won't become one for sure!!
Soggy sandwich, no sauerkraut on ruben, AND it contained an end of the loaf of bread - DONT COME HERE
Good food and a very cute and cozy atmosphere!
A taste of home for Franco-Americans
Uneven service. Manager as well as wait staff appeared to be in training. While not a busy day for lunch, we were ignored for at least twenty minutes, Server didn't end up serving us. Someone else pitched in. The request for water was forgotten. We're used to better service in places like Florida and North Carolina. Maybe because this store was in a mall the service was found lacking.
This place is a gem, an excellent menu, promt & courteous service. They are very well staffed . For a restaraunt that just opened, we came on day #4 it was very well organized. I can't imagine anyone leaving there with a "legimate" complaint like the previous reviewer.Ham sliders were great, squash soup was to die for, if you like mac & cheese their's is great. Desserts were delicious, coffee was fresh and there is a pretty good wine list. The server said all the food is local or as close as possible ot local.Definately, definately go there.
DON'T DO IT! to sum up the visit (before I go into great detail)- I left hungry. on appearance- 5 stars hands down, the place is beautiful, contemporary and very well put together- primarily the patio. Let's start with indoor seating- on the inside dining area, the area between the booths and tables is SO CLOSE, only ONE PERSON can pass through at a time. Waiter? horrible. To start, he wasn't too familiar with the bar stock (ok, I understand this is day 2 but they should be well versed) His humor was dry and could have easily been perceived as rude. Drinks- I ordered a Mojito, which #1 tasted more like lime soda than mint and #2 the 3 slices of lime floating in my drink? They were browned on the edges- gross. Appetizers- crab cakes, WONDERFUL! chunks of sweet (real) crab. Dinner- disappointing. basic, nothing special. The waiter asked how i felt when i responded 'its ok' he turned to my husband and said 'is she always like this?' yes- YES I AM! my husbands mashed potatoes were cold and also basic- they were mashed when the menu indicated 'whipped potatoes' certainly NOT whipped. Over all, i would 100% will NOT be going back, and will highly recommend no one I know to dine there, waste of $60.
I go there quite often and I always get buy on get one coupons and I've never had a bad meal here. Amazing food for such a good price.
Being a big Diners Drive-in’s and Dive’s fan I checked this place out twice. Went with a big party the first time and with a smaller group the next. Ordered a standard burger and added a fried egg. Due to the DDD hype and C&M’s local rep as a “great burger joint” I was expecting to be wow’d by my burger. My first few bites resulted in a “average at best” personal rating; but I wondered why. So I simply broke off a couple pieces of the burger meat only and discovered the reason. The meat, though juicy and cooked right, had virtually no flavor at all. I feel like I could have gottentastier meat at Friendly’s or any number of other chain restaurants. A great burger is not just in all the kooky toppings you put on it but also a great burger patty. It’s a (negative) testimate to the society we live in that a “reputable” burger joint can flourish on a wacky name, unusual toppings and a 5 minute stint on national television. How about great meat instead? Wow, what a concept. All show and no substance in my opinion. Waitress was less than friendly as well.
