NVS Kitchen and Bath

Happy with our new kitchen. There were some punch list items that needed addressing, but they were quick to come back and fix everything. Did like the fact that the owner of the company was involved throughout the process.

I hired NVS Kitchen and Bath to remodel the powder room for my parents living in Northern Virginia. I thought working with a designer outside of the state would be a figurative design hell on earth, but NVS's design team was just the opposite. From amazing communication to stellar design work - we couldn't have been happier with the design process. And the remodeling results nearly deserves its own review - from top to bottom, NVS is THE company when it comes to interior remodeling. We're really happy with the work and hope to work with NVS on larger projects in the future.

NVS is a fantastic company! We looked at six companies and met with three before selecting them for our project. The project included renovating and adding an addition to the kitchen, and renovating three bathrooms: the master and hall baths and the powder room. Also, the wood flooring was refinished throughout and new windows were installed. This three-month project went very smoothly and we had amazing interest and day-to-day support from the company’s executives and owner. Plus, the NVS model is to keep an NVS lead on the job-site at all times providing a single point of contact to work with. NVS was very accommodating during the design process and worked with us to get what we wanted in a beautiful design. All changes during the project were handled quickly and always to our satisfaction. I can say with absolute confidence the most critical ingredient to a successful remodeling project is the selection of your prime contractor and the people who make up NVS are absolutely top-notch, they care, they will take an active interest in your project and in helping YOU get what YOU want! They have my highest recommendation.

My wife and I hired NVS to finish our basement (approx. 1,400 sq. ft; previously unfinished). The NVS team brought a well-qualified, professional group of individuals to oversee project management, design, trades and construction. Our project consultant, Chris Mirko, was attentive, focused, and accommodating throughout our engagement. Our master carpenter and the trades team were highly experienced and met our project timelines and agreed-upon costs. We're extremely satisfied with NVS and our new basement; job well done.

This company was the best! After having a bad experience with a prior contractor, I was apprehensive about going forward with our project - but Glen Miracle and his team could not have been better. The project from the start was done professional; on time; and under budget. All of our questions were answered promptly and the work was held to a high standard. We are thrilled with the end product.

NVS was awesome to work with. They remodeled our kitchen, master bath, powder room, and fireplace. Everyone was professional. They work with only the best craftspeople whether they are laying tile, constructing cabinets, installing lighting, or designing. They always checked and rechecked to be sure we were happy with the way things were going. The carpenter frequently checked with me in the morning before I left for work to be sure I was happy with the design of the island, the placement of the granite, etc. He took a lot of time with me. He talked about what he was doing and was very proud of his work, as he should be. He was amazing. Our kitchen cabinets are outstanding. Richard made Alison's designs come alive. Gary who laid the tile spent a lot of time working with me as he laid the tile and picked out the best pieces of the lots prior to laying tile. He spent a lot of time with us to prepare the gorgeous tile that is in back of the stove. Glen was so kind and always made things right When the french doors were not what we expected he replaced them with no questions asked. This company was fantastic to work with and I would highly recommend them.

This was our second time using NVS for a remodel so we already knew the integrity of the owner and the company. They have a well-deserved reputation for getting a job done right. We had very specific goals in mind and they completed every detail to our satisfaction. Every person that was involved in the job - from the designer to each carpenter - was patient as we made decisions, prompt for work at the house and an expert in their field. They went above and beyond the call of duty. We highly recommend NVS for remodeling needs.

I purchased a foreclosured town house that had possibly the worst yellow kitchen you ever saw. NVS transformed my space and added thousands of dollars of value to my home.



One of their in-house designers came up with the idea to tear down a wall. I would never had thought of that, but it opened up my floor plan and made my home feel much newer than it actual is.



Also, their tile-person came to me with ideas of his own. For just a little more cost to me he added decorative glass tiles that really turned my backsplash and floor into a work of art.



I'm currently saving up money to redo my master bathroom, and I already plan to give NVS my work.

On two different occasions, NVS Kitchen & Bath has provided remodeling services at two houses that I have owned. At both houses they did extensive work on remodeling our kitchens and finishing two full basements. Not only did I find their craftsmanship to be exceptional, but they also were instrumental in providing excellent design advice on various options that were complimentary to our desired budgets for the projects. Without exception, every person who has seen the work has commented on the great design work and also the high quality of the work as well. NVS has always been incredibly responsive to time requests by completing projects on schedule and on budget. We have always highly recommended NVS to anyone who has inquired about the superior work at our homes.

Stay away from this company; extremely poor workmanship; promised 4-6 weeks to remodel two and a half baths; six months later still not finished; trying to charge extra for work that was in the contract; owner of the company not willing to discuss or fix problems
