Moonshadows Malibu

The view is fantastic. Hard to get a reservation for dinner or for the weekend. Food is slightly on the pricier side and a little blend. Tuna tartare was paired with seaweed which was interesting but lacked any flavor. Overall atmosphere is really nice and worth checking this place once or twice.

Great view, great service, great food. I had the oven roasted lobster and it was perfectly cooked. The appetizers and drinks were good as well. The wine list is not extensive but adequate. To make it worth your money you may want to reserve a table either outside or right up against the glass for the full experience.

You really cannot beat the view particularly at sunset--- you are literally on the ocean. The drinks are perfect --- a vacation in a glass. My husband and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary at Moonshadows with a 2 hr lunch on their patio on April 28, 2012.

The drink menu has a variety of different drinks at reasonable prices and the service was always very good. The food was amazing as well. Excellent clam chowder and the lamb was incredible. Moonshadows is the kind of place where you could drink and snack for hours or enjoy a fabulous meal at your leisure.

Overall; very chill romantic atmosphere. Take your loved one there, or impress the lady for the first time... they'll love it!!:)
