I'm a student living just off state street in Madison and signed up for a month of mcb while waiting for the cable internet to be installed. Honestly the worst $15.77 I ever spent. Rather than immediately packing up and going to the library or union for free wi-fi, day after day I got to spend an inevitable half-hour of watching a loading sign and numerous "Page cannot be displayed" error messages in the desperate attempt to make my expense worthwhile. I called a technician who, though friendly, was completely unhelpful and after being on the phone for about an hour and running through pointless tests of my pc's system, I was also "referred to an advanced technician." When I finally got a call back from the company it was to inform me that there was a "signal problem in my area" despite the fact that my area was in the green section on their coverage map. I signed up for their service and cancelled it within 2 hours - almost 2 weeks later they still have my $ - they advertised tech support until 10:00pm 7 days a week - I had 5 calls into them by 9:00 w/ NO answer. I finally got a call the next morning about 9AM by a very groggy woman saying she was returning a call.What a Joke - you could only connect via individual machines to their network - I could not get any of the 3 different routers I own to authenticate against their network - The bandwidth seemed great so I took a shot at it - I should have known better! If it sounds too good to be true it is!
