The best beer bar in Madison. I love the holiday parties they have! Reasonable prices. They have happy hour prices all night on Tuesdays & Thursdays! One of my favorite things is the costumes the servers wear (dirndls & leder-hosen) The music gets everyone hopping. After passing an authentic 2 liter glass drinking boot around I laugh my guts out trying to dance Polka with my friends. People always seem to be walking away from the Essen Haus giggling like they got away with something & I am one of them! I never miss the Biggest Mardi Gras & Saint Patrick's Day parties in Madison. The special menus for food & drinks plus lots of free promo stuff at these parties. Tons of fun to be had!
