We are so pleased with our new floor! We checked at several stores and Crown was able to give us the best price AND the quickest install. Both Bob, the salesperson, and Heladio and Marco, our installers, were courteous and professional; our installers vacuumed the floor before beginning on both install days and after they were finished, so no mess for me to clean up! I will definitely use Crown flooring again!
We've had close interactions with four folks at Crown Flooring over the years and all of them have been professional, respectful, responsive, and low-stress. We appreciate their commitment to the customer, to their service and products. We cannot rate them high enough.
Dave and his team were very communicative with me and treated the project like a partnership. I have a very busy schedule and they worked with me on that. I had a custom epoxy floor installed which, each piece is unique. Dave was present at the time of the coloring to ensure it had the look I was striving for. All touch-ups near the end were completed to my satisfaction. It was very important to Dave that my expectations were met, and they were...well within the estimate provided at the start of the project. I never felt like a scam was being played. In fact these are down-to-earth people who were on their hands and knees working hard on my floor, just so I could have the end product I desired. With a project this unique, there needs to be a reasonable give and take. Dave was on point with communicating and never lost sight of what we first discussed for the project final expectation.Highly recommend.
I'm kind of surprised by the negative reviews. We just completed our third project with them - and they have installed hardwood, tile, and carpet for us - and have always done a fantastic job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future, and always recommend them when it comes to flooring/tile installation.
They showed up late, then decided to put work off a day. Second day were not here on time! Very convenient, as I had to stop eating & drinking as this was my only bathroom & taking meds. I was admonished for having only one bathroom. Left mess & equipment behind, used my personal towels as rags to clean up. They never leave things as they were when they got here, You would think that after knowing I was not happy with the way they did things the first time they would try harder. No let just irritate customer!!! In the light of day I have discovered more issues with the work preformed and damages to my property.
This store isn't closed, it just moved to 40 Triangle Street in McFarland, WI. They have a bigger showroom with a ton of different samples plus they now do cabinets and counter tops!
Very rude and seemed like they were just out to get a buck. They don't stand behind there work at all!! They own a restoration company named Certi-Dry. I can only imagine the scamming they are doing to the customer and insurance companies. This did no happen to me but It did to my poor mother!!
Hi RyanI spoke to Beth earlier today, she confirmed she is happy with the color just not happy with some sanding marks. The day I went back to look at it all I noticed were some by the threshold. I took care of them before applying the final coating. with the lighting in the room I did not notice any other marks that day. If you would have called me to let me know that you were unhappy I would have done everything in my power to correct the problem at hand. As for matching the other room, I had discussed the factors with Beth during the estimate, being the floor you wanted us to match was a pre finished floor as well as being an entirely different species of wood that I could not guarantee a match. I am sorry that you had a bad experience with us and just wish I had known as we would have fixed any problems.
We hired this company to refinish a hardwood floor in our house. The goal was to match an adjacent newer floor as close as possible. As the newer floor was an engineered product, we understood they would not be able to match perfectly. The stain they selected was not even close. When we asked for a darker stain to be applied, the workmen tried to convice us to "live with it for several weeks" to see if it would "grow on us". They begrudgingly added a new, darker stain which was a much closer match to the existing floor. Worse yet, they only did rough sanding with no finer grit finish sanding along the perimeter of the wood floor prior to putting down the stain. This resulted in ugly, deep circular gouges. When confronted about this, they agreed to fix a small portion, but for the remainder, the manager stated that it "looked acceptable when viewed from a standing height with appropriate (dim, windows closed, no sunlight, only a single lamp turned on) lighting conditions" and therefore they would not fix the majority of the perimeter. That is certainly not my definition of quality. If you want a job done quickly by people who cut corners at every opportunity, you may want to consider this company. If you want the job done properly, I would suggest you look elsewhere.
