There are two sides to every story and most of these are totally one sided. There is a lot more to say about sales situations and it is incorrect for anyone to think the staff at Schoepp Motors would 'yell' at any customer for any reason. It is a family owned, professional business with a good reputation in the Madison/Middleton area for over 35 years. I have bought 2 cars from them and my family/friends have dealt with them also. It isn't always peaches 'n cream every time you buy a car because sometimes the circumstances related to money & credit aren't perfect. All I know is that they try very hard to get you a loan for a car that you will be happy driving. They don't yell at anyone or try to make anyone do anything they don't want to do. I would recommend Schoepp Motors to anyone who wants to buy a decent used car that has been tuned-up, cleaned, and wont be a headache to own. They are a big company and definitely respect people and want to keep their reputation positive. **You have to respect the rule of 10's: One person that is unhappy with their purchase will tell 10 people about it - It takes 10 happy customers to tell 1 person they had a great experience. 1% of the customers [that aren't happy] make 75% of the noise (especially ONLINE). People that are disgruntled feel the drive to make everyone know about it (misery loves company), while happy people are just content with themselves - hence the rule of 10's I used to work in trailer/RV sales so I know a little bit about how this works. I just feel bad because they try so hard to help people get cars, and if you just read these reviews you wouldn't know that at all. I rated them 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 stars because they aren't perfect and given the nature of used car sales, credit, & banks you can't expect them to be. If you go to Schoepp to buy a used car you have the best shot at getting a good car, a good deal, and the best possible bank terms available. I don't have perfect credit and have been shocked at how well they've done to get me a good loan on a car I wanted. Just take all the negative reviews with a grain of salt keeping in mind there are two sides to every story. Be well!

I would HIGHLY recommend M&M Auto Body for anyone looking for quality detailing or auto body work in the Dane County area. For a lot of years I detailed my own vehicles because I could never find someone who had the same attention to detail that would satisfy my expectations. That all changed recently when I had one of my vehicles detailed at M&M Auto Body. The experience I had there was a customer’s dream from start to finish. Mike Myagawa and his staff showed incredible customer service from making the appointment, providing a clean and dependable loaner vehicle, to the pick up of my vehicle the next day. I checked my vehicle from bumper to bumper when I arrived home and was absolutely amazed at the quality of work and attention to detail that M&M showed in working on the vehicle. It surpassed even my very high expectations of quality workmanship and I will be bringing my wife’s vehicle there in the next week for a similar job. I also would not hesitate to bring any auto body work there that is needed for any of our cars based on the quality of work provided. To top it off, the pricing at M&M is very fair, their location is very easy to get to (one block off of Stoughton Rd.) and Mike’s staff is second to none. I hope anyone who reads this will give serious consideration to doing business with such a quality establishment. David W. Dahlin Verona, WI 608-845-5829
I found the car that I wanted on the internet first before going down to talk to them. Kristen was wonderful, she called me to follow-up about the vehicle. She made sure that I qualified for financing before I headed down to the dealer. I live about 200 miles from them, so I wanted everything to be in order. I got down on the day that I said I would and Kristen was right at the counter. She had a Matt Schultz, one of her sales people, take me to see the new vehicle and they looked at mine at the same time. I was happy with the new vehicle, so they went to finance it. It got to be late, so they asked if I could return the next day and give them some more time to get the financing done. I was not pleased about having to leave, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I came back the next day and was working with Nate the finance manager. He was also very helpful and professional. He had all of my paperwork ready. He went over it with me and had me sign where I needed to sign and I was off. I can't say how good of an experience this was for me. The sales people were excellent along with the finance person. I have bought many cars in my life and I can say honestly this was the easiest sales experience I have ever had.
I have had nothing but positive experiences working with the owner of Staves Auto Sales at 648 east Washington ave in Madison Wisc. Steve is professional, down to earth, willing to go above and beyond what most car dealers would do for the little man. The quality if vehicles is beyond what you would find from a USED dealership, no hidden fees, and he is knowledgeable in mechanical issues, pricing for repairs is not only honest, but low cost. He is honest, patient, personable, takes time to listen to what you are looking for in a vehicle, price range, and is willing to go the extra mile for you. Definitely a good businessman. I refer all I know who are in need of a vehicle, whether it be car, truck, suv, minivan..he has upgraded inventory worth checking out!! He also is fairly quick in repairs, oil changes, etc. Good place to get that first care for your teenage driver, or when your car breaks down either repairs or a new/used vehicle. Vehicles are unremarkably clean and in great mechanical working condition, with some extras, such as seat warmers, moon roofs, dvd/cd players, good tires, etc..A Must Ck out dealer if you desire honest, friendly service!
I bought a VW jetta tdi from A to Z autosports. I have put more than 20k miles on it and it has been one of the best vehicles i have owned. My previous car was a a 2012 , and like all cars require maintenance expected or not. I really dont understand why some people who buy cars that is 5 or 10 years old are suprised that they have to fix or replace something that stopped working. I had to do that on my 2012 acura that i bought from the acura dealership. Let alone cars that are 7 or 10 years old with over 100,000 miles. People are quick to jump and blame a dealership anytime something has to be fixed or replaced in a their car. 99% of the time, the parts has to replaced or car needs service, and NO the dealership did not program the part to fail a week or a month after you bought your car. It is part of owning a used car that is 5 or 10 years or older. The guys at A to Z where more than helpful any time i needed help, even a 2 years after i bought my car. Go there and see for yourself. Even if you dont buy a car , and just browse you will see they are laid back and honest.
We (myself and wife) started looking for a newer truck in April of 2011. We traveled to many dealerships to see what we could find. Of the dealerships we visited many salesman tried to push us into something we didn't want nor could afford. The salesman (Dave Behling) at Gordie Boucher Ford in Janesville, asked many questions to find out what our needs and price range would be. We drove several different vehicles in the 6 months we were looking, answered all our questions with confidence and patience and even checked interent and other dealerships to help us find exactly what we wanted. There was never any pressure put on us by Dave to purchase a vehicle. In September of 2011 we finally found what we were looking for. When we picked up the truck, Dave stayed well past closing time to go over how everything worked, set up bluetooth, and continued to answer more questions. Since then we have been in and also called several times and Dave has also taken time to answer any and all questions no matter how many times we have asked. THANKS so much Dave
I have a hard time believing these negative reviews. I suspect some may be from the competition and perhaps others from unreasonable customers? I have had nothing but the best experience from Goben Cars. I typically go through several cars each year or so and now buy all of them through Goben. I am a bargain hunter and they consistently have the best prices. They have always gone above and beyond with any issues on vehicles within the warranty period and have provided nothing but the best service outside of the warranty period. If it wasn't something they could fix themselves they always pointed me in the right direction or found the best on price on parts needed. Not to say I've had a lot of problems with the vehicles I've purchased from them - because I haven't. However, vehicles are bound to have problems, even new ones. I highly recommend Goben Cars if you can look past the lack of mega dealer facilities etc and realize that, instead, they pass the savings on to you as a consumer.
The dealership was Kayser Nissan, (Madison, WI) and our salesman was Clay Luttrell. We requested a quoted online and received a good price. We were impressed with the salesperson and manager. This was a changed from the other area Nissan dealership I contacted for a quote as that dealership quoted a much higher price and didn't seem that interested in earning our business. Kayser Nissan was low pressure and wasn't playing the old dealer games. My only issues were they did have us wait over a half hour on our scheduled appointment and their waiting area needs some work. We ending up not buying the Murano we were interested in because my wife, who is shorter than I, had trouble reaching the pedals comfortably. I would again consider Kayser Nissan for another vehicle purchase as they were actually nice to do business with. I know that's difficult to believe. But go ahead and try them for yourself and you'll see what I mean.
Good Service, Sales Sucks, After doing business with Kayser for the past 20 yrs or so i have to say their service is good when you take your vehicle in for service, however i am sad to say their sales suck. I was looking at a possible trade for my vehicle and i was just checking with them to see what they could do, i do have credit issues. Anyway they ran my credit report and basically gave me the entire cold shoulder, They are supposed to offer solutions for credit problems they even advertise that, however after jerking me around with sales i will be purchasing a vehicle at a competitior who didnt blow me off when they saw my credit.. Loyalty apparently means nothing to these guys anymore as far as sales goes and they lost my business on that end after 20 yrs of dealing with them. I am going to Ballweg in Sauk Prairie. After all i am not just going to give my vehcle away and pay window sticker on the trade in
My husband and I have been looking for a car for quite awhile. Through Craigslist, private sellers, car dealers (both new and used cars), it is or I should say, can be frustrating. We ended up at East Madison Toyota and we are so very, very happy we did. From our salesman, JJ to Jamie, John and Cory, we cannot even imagine going anywhere else from now on. Everyone is so sincerely nice, helpful, genuine and down-to-earth. JJ asked questions and worked with us to meet our specific needs, no pressure. JJ was always very nice and extremely patient. We had a ton of questions and a lot of going back and forth. Do we buy used? Do we buy new? We looked at both. Thank you everyone for making us feel comfortable in our decision and in helping us find the best vehicle for us. (p.s. we bought brand new and are so excited)!!! Such an awesome dealership!! Call or stop in, you will be glad you did!!
