I'm only speaking about the USED dealership part. They will sell you any used and it will probably have issues. The 2008 Chevy Tahoe we just returned to them about a week ago is already for sale on their website at this moment! We'd only made one payment on it and already the check engine light came on, 4x4 didn't work right, windshield wipers are not right, tire sensor on the back driver side is bad, put it in reserve going up a hill or incline and it makes a terrible noise(pretty sure it's transmission), and cruise control doesn't work. OH and I can't leave out it shows check suspension, because they took the electric running boards off which they could have paid for electric ones to go back on and chose not to. Last 4 digits of the VIN are 6828. There is no way they fixed ALL of that in a week, they couldn't even fix the running boards in a week much less ALL those other things. I traded with them for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee because we couldn't just leave since we had a loan, I've had this one only a week and guess what, it's leaking oil, lots of it! I am NOT taking it back to them, they lie, and they take a long time to get back to you and get anything done. NEVER go to Serra of Nashville, at least not the used dealership. One positive note, Keith, another manager in the used department was really nice, and I really thought everything was better until this oil leak, I'm not wasting my time on them anymore!
They sold us a lemon . We drove the car only a few weeks and the head gasket blew. As of today they have not offered to replace the car or fix the head gasket which cost $3000.
Since no one will call me as promised I'll leave my concerns on here. Took my 2003 Hummer H2 down & had an appt with Greg.. Really nice guy & all but didn't listen to my problem or understand? He did type it up & it shows on my bill what was wrong.. The H2 has a known issue of the left rear door saying its open. as soon as you put it in gear it dings door open. after driving for some time it trys to lock it dinging on the dash at the same time. constant until you turn the car off. even sets my alarm off at 2 am cause it thinks the door is open. So I explained to Greg all of this to include I had already had the door actuator replaced but didnt fix the problem. searching on GM forums it had stated" the BCM may need flashing with new software to remedy this problem" But I needed it fixed let me know. So Greg calls me 3 hours later its all done & ready I get there & pay.... Jump in put it in gear....Guess what LEFT REAR DOOR IS AJAR!!!!!!!!!! The exact reason I took it in. So back to Greg who says" I did what you asked..reprogrammed the BCM..." I said" I wanted the issue fixed & the BCM Flashing may be the issue but fix it" I asked him 3 times (which he finally answered) Did your tech come to him after the reprogramming & tell you that the left rear door stills says ajar? He said "yes" but I did what you asked...NO YOU DIDNT!!!!! I piad $85.00 FOR NOTHING So I asked to speak with the service manager. After a 30 min wait.. I get a business card (ED Zehnder) The cashier said" She would get my paperwork to MR ED & he would give me a call... Well its been 6 days with nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Update....Service manager did call after someone read the reviews. More after next appt.
If it were possible to rate less than one star, believe me, we would! Stay away from this dealership. They will rip you off when they get the opportunity...Do yourself a favor and just drive by & don't pull in! We aren't the only ones who feel this way. just check out some of their other reviews ( they usually try to hide them).
Great sales team, but will not honor warranty The service manager is a hot head and he told me if I ever give him a bad review he would never do anything for me again.Nothing to loose because he never did anything for me before except lie to me I would never buy anything from them againGo to Gupton in Springfield
My experience at Serra of Nashville was the best I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. My salesperson Charles Townsend went the extra mile to put me in the vehicle I was looking for and at the best possible price. I do not think I could have got a better deal anywhere else. He was so friendly as were all the people I came in contact with at Serra. I would recommend Serra of Nashville to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.
I had a Wonderful experience. The sales man was very helpful and I was satisfied with his attention.
