Hello, we recently had an issue with our Ice Maker going out on our new(ish) fridge/freezer. We called none other than Freds Appliance to fix the problem. Great service, outstanding customer skills and always happy with the work they do! Overall A++ rating from me! Thank you, Freds!
Over a year ago on 02/14/13 my husband and I bought a Frigidaire Affinity washer/dryer set. We were told by the salesman that this model had the least amount of issues with it. We also bought an extended warranty through Fred's at this time. I have had nothing but problems with this set since a month after we got it home. Not only have we had to have the pump and the control panel replaced, we have had major issues with the pump becoming clogged ( a known issue with this model). The repairmen sent out to the house have said we are under loading the unit , while the next said we were overloading it. There was another repairmen who came in and was rude to my mother. She was just trying to explain that she never uses the washer. On most of the visits the repairmen have made a mess and just left it laying on the laundry room floor along with the water that came out during the repair. They also never wait around to see if the problem is fixed. On the last occasion they started a regular run of the washer (something the manual says will damage the drum) and left. When I came home the washer was full of water, the same exact problem they were called for in the first place.
When you call it is usually a week out before they can even come and look at the unit.
All in all I have been with out a washer at least 2 months while waiting in repairs from Fred's. Frigidaire has given me an extended warranty and now I am using a different repair service. They came in one day, were polite, cleaned up their mess and made sure I was okay with the time frame on ordering my new parts. I am upset with the entire experience I have had with Fred's and will not be returning to them or recommending them to anyone. As well I will not be using their extended warranty that I have as they are not living up to any expectations I had at the time of purchase.

Jeff came on time at 8am as scheduled. Excellent tech with good customer skills. Call was for a dying Kitchenmaid dishwasher pump. We opted not to repair, but to replace, because of the age of our unit and the cost/benefit ratio. Would highly recommend Fred's and will gladly call them again.
I was able to get a same day appointment which was very helpful, and my technician Chris taught me things about my Whirlpool washer that I wasn't familiar with, he shared great knowledge and was done fixing my problem within 20 minutes! I would definitely recommend and use them in the future.
Paul was courteous and explained everything I needed to know. I am so impressed with the efficiency of the whole operation from my call to schedule the appointment to moving up my appointment from Monday to Friday (next day after my call) and understanding of the person I talked to on the phone. Great Job!
Whirlpool set up an appointment for service for my microwave. Fred's called to confirm the appointment for the following day. Before the serviceman was to arrive, he called telling me his arrival time. He was friendly and informative and fixed the problem with a new switch he had in his truck in a short period of time.
I have had Fred's Appliance at my house numerous times. They helped many times with my Kitchenaid frig and then the one that Kitchenaid had to REPLACE. Fred's kept me sane during this process of dealing with a frig that just didn't want to work. I will always have Fred's come to my house for any appliance I have. They are professional and very knowledgeable with getting the product back on track or in this case Kitchenaid just had to replace the whole unit because it was such a lemon.
Had a wonderful experience! Thet sent me an e-mail with my appointment time and a picture of the employee that would be coming. Not to mention you can track the tech to see if he is running late, early or on time. He arrived, introduced himself and was very polite. He was quick, informative, helpful and made sure we didn't have any questions about anything. I am very happy with my experience and thankful to have my appliances in working order again. I would recommend this company!
